The name says wildlife Sanctuary but you would see no wildlife here. The closest you will come to is some birds. If you like bird watching this could be a good place for a dau out. Why this is popular is for trekking. We have trekked here twice. You would need a guide though, so that you dont get lost in the jungle. The trek is very easy, even kids can do it. The trek passes through the jungle, mines, valleys and hills. You would find no shops or anything if you trekking through the forested area. It peacefu, quiet and pretty.

Pretty good for a day trek. The views are beautiful, trek is easy even though it is an uphill climb... And the history behind this hill is very interesting. I would suggest not to miss this if you are into trekking.

Had read about this place for wildlife photography and birding. The approach is really bad, with about the last 2 kms being absolutely painful with no road at all. There's no guard or forest official there to monitor people, so there might be idiots too trying to disturb the peace. But when there weren't people around, it was quite divine and peaceful. We didn't really see any wildlife, or much of birds for that matter. All in all, not a place to visit unless you've got an SUV and spare time.

Very nice place, New car derivers please don't take risks. The road is narrow and quite steep it's bit risky. The resort is closed for staying but u can enter inside by paying 150 rs per head but go only if ur are really natural view lovers and history lover other wise u will be disappointed. U can have Natural view of Himalayan peaks from backside.

Beautiful nature trails, best location in mussoorie day hike

What a nice place and silent place. The lush green trees and the sounds of birdies takes you to another universe. You should go here if you like to hike. There was no one inside except for one gaurd posted outside who feeded us wrong information that you can reach the top in just 1.30 hours. We walked for good 2.30 hours and reached nowhere.

Awesome view of Doon valley at a side and Yamuna valley & snow ladden himalayan peaks on other from the top. Entire trail is full of soothing visual & changing landscapes. You'd hardly find anyone else there, so can enjoy the peace & serenity of the nature...

There is this bridge which is in front of a waterfall. It's been years since we used to ride up there. The waterfall has remained the same. However increasing tourism and traffic has started showing evidences. Hope this place remains as it is.
