There is one entrance around the corner where the beach can be viewed sitting on benches. Beach is not accessible from here.. Next one allows you to go to the beach.. you can enjoy the beach. But the shore is steep and there are no lifeguards.. it's relatively clean not the level you would want!!
The place may look nice but less crowded again in front of this there is a small island where you can go by boat. But the rainy season didn't get sunset views at all. Many pics showed a nice view of the sunset so I went. No stall and nothing like other beaches.. Almost empty. Please don't go alone. You have to take a ferry service which costs Rs10/head/side available for 15minutes once. This beach is near the central railway station though we have less time to come here.
To be accessed via Ferry Service, from maintown Mangalore. Empty beach in the morning, despite weekends. Since it is not a very well-known tourist spot, and is located close to a resident colony where local fishermen live. Nice view upto the horizon
Beach was good, and less crowded. I went in the month of June. So it was the rainy season and tides were high. Overall beach was kind of good. Not suitable for getting in to water.
