Great experience! Food was delicious. We had a mix of both veg and non veg and everything tasted amazing! The service was great and the host shared a lot of history and stories about the food. We had a whole room to ourselves so the kids got to play a bit as well. It was a bit expensive but well worth the price of the experience.
It's a great showcase of Karnataka food scenery, especially Gowda cuisine that's hyper-localised to Bangalore. The taste is top-notch, flavours and textures just what it should be - freshly cooked home food. The host takes you through stories of the recipe which adds a familiarity and history to what you're being served. One of the best tasting room experiences in Bangalore. Must visit.
I went to the Bengaluru Oota Company to celebrate my birthday. The food simply exceeded all expectations and left me with a dining experience like none other. The pictures will give you an idea of the feast that awaits, but they can never do justice to the magic of it all. If you are a foodie, for the love of food, head to the Bangalore Oota Company. It's absolutely a must-visit. P.S. They don't entertain walk-ins, and you have to book a slot a day prior.
Absolutely amazing authentic Bangalorian food. Perfect preparation. Loved the homely feel. The owner is great to talk to, she's able to explain the history of every dish. The only thing I'd recommend is getting a better generator. The electricity got cut when we went because of some maintenance, and the generator was only able to splutter for about 10 minutes before it gave out. The owner was prepared with some candles, which would've been romantic for someone, but I was with my father, and it just wasn't it. All in all, I heavily recommend this place to every visitor, it's a great experience.
I recently had the pleasure of experiencing the tasting menu at Bengaluru Oota Company, and it was truly a culinary adventure. The menu featured a variety of regional dishes from Karnataka, each prepared with the utmost care and attention to detail. Every bite was bursting with flavor, and the presentation was both beautiful and thoughtful. The service was excellent, with the staff providing insightful information about each dish and its origins. The atmosphere of the restaurant was cozy and inviting, with a distinct local charm. Overall, I highly recommend the tasting menu experience at Bengaluru Oota Company to anyone looking for an exceptional dining experience in Bangalore.
Go here for the gowda and mangi cuisine.... brilliant meal made with looov ...... it's extremely homely and recipes belong to the family.
The place is easy to miss in the neighbourhood. So keep your eyes peeled or call someone who is already there. It's a small cute place with very little done for ambience. It gets loud with chatter as there is nothing that can absorb the sound. Food is fresh and one needs to book in advance with number of people and what they would eat. Hot and fresh food is served which makes for a good experience if you are with friends. The owners are super friendly if you get to meet them. The staff is super polite and helpful.
The place is simplistic and minimalistic, nothing fancy. the quality and quantity is good. But the price to be paid for the food is definitely not worth it, the price is very expensive per head rupees 2500 .the minimum amount with family will definitely cost more than rupees 15,000 I would not prefer this restaurant due to its price range There are better restaurants at this price in my opinion
