It's a small place to explore. There is not much to see here except for the fort walls. If you are planning to come here or planning to visit the tippu sultan summer palace, visit the other one. It's an easily accessible place. There's a bus stand nearby.
Don't expect much here. It's a very small fort which can be covered in just 5 minutes. Entry is free. You can go there to get a few good pictures. Apart from this there is nothing more. There is a small garden inside and also a temple at the entrance which was closed when I was there. Watchmen will not allow you to sit for a long time but they will allow you to take pictures. I didn't find any parking here. You need to park near the bus stand or the metro station or somewhere else at your own risk. Can visit just once if you are going in that way or while visiting tippu sultans palace which is just 500m away from this location.
This is a hidden gem of a place. It is located after the marketplace and it doesn't really have a lot of historical elements to show for. However, considering there is no entry fee, the place is really well maintained. The architecture of the fort will impress you with its sheer height and structure. The wooden doors are huge and it's up to your imagination how they used to be operated with that weight in mind. There are a lot of small carvings here and there hidden among the stones. Possibly there were a lot of other passageways but they are closed for safety and security. Don't expect a lot from this visit, but it was a great experience.
This fort is located very near to KR Market This place has lots of history behind it Now it's fully controlled by archaeological Survey of India No parking space available in front of fort You can use victory hospital parking space No entry fee to visit
It is a great walk in the past allowing you to see what was once Bangalore. No ticket needed to enter. The walk in the fort is rather short with the top floor being locked to the public to see. It is rather only a showcase of the ruins and a part of the original fort.
Historical Fort with magnificent structure. However, I feel that I could learn a lot more about the place and the history if there are more descriptions.
There is no much to see inside there. But the doors are heavy as I seen, apart from that there is nothing to see expect some greenery inside may good for photography. Difficult to get parking.. Better to go by Metro
Bengaluru fort visit was a good experience, but please be warned that there isn't much. It is basically remnants of the old fort and a small lawn area. The entire visit may not take 20 mins even if you walk slowly and take pics. The entry is free. Maintanence is okayish. There are portions that are closed. The roof is not accessible (guard said that it was never open to public. Entry is free. Walkable distance from KR market and KR market metro.

For someone who is bought up in this city the first obvious answer for the question "who created Bangalore?" Is Kempegowda. But thanks to some epigraphist and citizen driven groups from the city we now have a proof of Bangalore being older than what
