Recently we visited 80 years old Bengal Hotel situated at Behala. It was established in 1940. We ordered their famous Fish Batter Fry, Fish Finger, Fish Fry and Chicken Stew with Bread. Price : Fish Batter Fry - Rs140/-(1pc) Fish Fry - Rs130/-(1pc) Fish Finger - Rs180/-(6pcs) Chicken Stew - Rs160/-(2pcs) Review : Fish Batter fry was too good in taste. Outer layer was crispy and the inner filling of the fish was thick and perfectly cooked. Fish was fresh and the portion was good. Rating : 5/5 Fish fry was also good in taste but the inner filling was thin but the fish was fresh. Rating : 4/5 Now come to Chicken Stew. The Chicken Stew was too delicious. They serve two large pcs of chicken, and some veggies. Chicken was soft and perfectly cooked. It tasted just like home made Stew. Portion size was good. Rating : 5/5 Fish Finger was fingerlicking good. Outer layer was crispy and the inner filling of the fish was also too tasty. Fish was fresh and perfectly cooked. Rating : 5/5 Though the hotel was small, and having a seating capacity with 10-12 people at a time, still you will surely fell in love with their food.

Worst experience. This hotel should be closed immediately. Pathetic taste. Tried Mutton cutlet today. They dont know how to prepare this dish. mutton is not at all fresh. Have to leave without finishing it. AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COST. WASTE OF MONEY. I am going to complain about this hotel. They are just looting people in the name of service.
