Belle Wista Wado - Hotel in Sangolda, Penha de Franca - North Goa, India

I stayed here in 2015 visit. Very calm and peaceful property. Hotel manager was very helpful guy. It's little far from beaches around 6 kms. But that's the good thing about it, that no traffic and noise.

Please choose this hotel only if you want to experience HELL. Even after seeing the bad reviews, I had to choose this hotel only because no rooms where available elsewhere. I request you cancel your tour plan, if there are no rooms available in Goa, but never choose this hotel. I rode to Goa on my Royal Enfield with my friend. We were given a room and we unpacked our luggage and were ready to go out and then Manager told us he has allotted us wrong room and we need to shift to other room. We said its okay, and shifted. After coming back to room at 8.00 pm, we parked the Bike inside the gate and slept. At around 10.00 pm, the hotel staffs wakes us up and tells to park the vehicle outside the gate because they only allow the bikes rented from them to be parked inside the gate. I was very much surprised to hear that. Next day I discussed the matter with the hotel owner and his answer was also the same. I was horrified. I had to park my Bike outside the gate during my entire stay in this hotel, even when the parking space inside the hotel was empty. Before leaving the room on Second day morning, we told the manager to get the room cleaned before we come back. We came back to the hotel in the evening and asked for the room key. To my surprise they had misplaced the room key. We were tired and the hotel owner was searching for the key. Later the keys were found and when we went inside the room, it wasn't cleaned at all. Room and Bathroom was in the same condition as it was in the morning. We left the room on the third day morning. We were having a good time at a beach and we receive a call from Hotel Manager and he asks me that he will shift our luggage to another room as he wants to give our room to some other guests. I was horrified. I scolded him and cut the call. In two minutes the owner of the hotel calls me and says "Sir, I want a favour from you and you should help me." I said, "I won't change the room, shut up and cut the call." These silly things are enough to ruin your entire tour.

How I wish I could stay for a really long time here!!! This place is so peaceful. Highly recommended if you're in Goa for some peace and quiet. Single room with AC. The room was clean and spacious. The bathroom was also well cleaned. It had the most coziest bed. The price was also way cheaper for the kind of room they provided. :))))

Hi all, I hope my review will help you all in selecting this hotel. I went to Goa last week 29 Dec 2014 and I stayed here for 2N/3D. What I observed about this hotel is as follows : Pros: 1. Hotel is decent and clean. Its a old Portuguese house which is converted to hotel. 2. We reach there around 11 am but checkin time was 12pm so they provided us the hall for keeping the luggage and bathroom to freshup. 3. Washrooms were clean with both hot and cold water supply. 4. Mattress was really comfortable. 5. They dont have kitchen facility but they provide pamplets for 2 hotels nearby where you can order and they deliver the food to your room (but not used ). 6. There were NO BHOOT , NO PRET AATMA we found in the hotel premises. :P LOL . i wrote this for the guy who has written : its like hauted house. Cons: 1. Definitly it is not there where it is shown in Google Map, Find for Delhi Viva Restaurent on Chogm road, hotel is very near to that.Same restaurent provide good food to you. 2. The hotel is very silent and staff is very less. 3. You will not find anyone in night except the security person to help u. 4. For food you have to go out or you have to order from Delhi viva only option. 5. Baga beach, candolim beach are around 10-12 kms from hotel. 6. Too low lights in the rooms. I suggest this hotel to them who are going to enjoy the beaches and happenings in Goa. As in the hotel there is nothing. :) Don't book for AC rooms in month of december becoz Goa is also get cool in nights.

I liked the hotel. Its located in sangolda at a quite and peaceful location. Though its a little far from calangute, baga beach and anjuna beach but i liked the room and the calmness surrounding the resort. It doesn't have a kitchen or a bar. But its only 20-30 mts away from a restaurant called 'viva delhi' which serves good north indian food and also has a bar. It delivers food in the hotel as well. You can get tea and milk in the hotel. The staff at belle vista is courteous. They will help u with anything that u need. As its approx 6km from calangute, and the way to calangute doesn't seem safe after 6pm, i would recommend ppl to stay in any other hotel in calangute.

Location wise the hotel is perfect. .....No water available in morning. Even after you inform the room attendent it takes more then 2 hrs for water to come in tap. Door doesnt lock properly. No one comes to pick the luggage at the time of checkout. Over all it was a bad experience, only the plus point is the location.

Stayed here 10 & 11 Nov 14, It s the worst place in Goa, Never book on-line for this stupid hut. It has nothing. Total staff is Three including the Manager, no restaurant, no bar,no parking, no room service, no wi-fi (as stated in their advt.), Miles away from the beaches, It took us couple of hour to find out this hotel. The staff has no cooperation at all, as we booked it on-line. They provide us one room on ground floor and another on second floor. The rooms and other eminent are not cleaned from months, All the furnitures shown are actually rusted and unusable, It stinks all around........

peaceful location n nice surrounding view with i strongly recommend this hotel for couples. need some renovation's in washroom. overall my stay was good as a couple i like this hotel because its in peaceful location, with complete privacy
