It was good experience. Waiting time is too much. Actual ride is for 45 minutes to hour. Food is average. Open from October to May only. Good place for taking pictures.

This is a scam center. Experience: There were two of us arrived here at 1:25pm to catch the 1:30pm ferry to Elephanta. Mind you, travelling from another city, a 3 hour bus trip beforehand. On asking if the 1:30 ferry is plying, the ticket counter bloke answered yes, and that we should book it. We were attempting to pay with cash but he insisted to pay via UPI, since "we can get the booking details immediately and less paperwork" We went along and paid 1500 via UPI, for two, return trip. We were told to wait for a short while and the people on the speed boat will call out. 20 mins later, nothing. I approached the ticket counter and to my disappointment, learnt the ferry will not ply because 1- Somethings wrong with the boat, then after 5 mins, 2- The story was spinn-ed towards not having enough members for it to be profitable for the company. We were told the money would be refunded in 3-4 working days and the ferry will not ply. After talking to the HR Deepika over call, their office in Andheri, we were told the same thing. After explaining, that we came specifically from another city for this, and that we were paying with cash initially but was insisted to pay via QR (so our money would be stuck, some devious plan from their end). Ultimately, we requested them to share us the refund details, UPI refund ID, written transcript mentioning the problem as a proof (Since they mentioned it's in process but will take 3-4 days) or take us to Elephanta as paid, either or. After waiting for an hour in the heat, we got our refund. This has apparently occurred with multiple passengers. If you're paying here, always pay by cash, in the worst case you can get your refund immediately and can avoid this hassle we encountered. The whole ordeal felt like a scam. Insisting a QR payment, when they knew beforehand that there's only 2-3 people in total available for the 1:30 ferry and it wouldn't ply. This could have easily mentioned it to us before we booked. We still had few minutes to approach different vendors in the same area since 2pm is the final departure time. Our trip could have been salvaged. Personally recommend catching the ferry from Gateway. Avoid this place.

Jetty was closed due to Rainy Season today I think Jetty is open for Public Ferry, very very Ideal place to enjoy your Party Events... Iqbal IMS

This place is closed for the near future. No one knows when it will open. The website Also does not mention this. Very sad,we travelled a half hour just to see it closed. Very disappointed.

Very bad service. We have planned to visit Elephanta from Belapur jetty on Saturday at 1.30 PM. Accordingly we were prepared from morning and went to jetty at around 1.00PM.........but....they cancelled the ride at last moment..........saying reason mechanical issue in boat. My children's were very upset........such service was not expected...........

Management is very unprofessional. On reaching the pickup point, we were informed that the boat is canceled. There was no communication about this. Even now, we are chasing them for a refund.
