The Begum Kothi (Lady's Quarters) was a large, imposing building with a lofty gateway and a double range of outer buildings which formed a square within a square, one side of which was the Imambara. An upper room of the Begum Kothi served as the Commissariat store-room, while the house of Mr. Quieros (today labelled the Kitchen) with its adjoining stables was utilised as a canteen and as a liquor store room. As the house and the main guard house behind it, was connected to the Begum Kothi by a passageway they were considered a part of the complex.

Beautiful monument, not properly maintained as it should be.
Nice place for romance. Not so family friendly, Remember this is a public place when you're with ur loved one because some people don't and they end up in trouble (bribery sometimes). Caution: Don't get far in the ruins side which is on the left from the entrance
Also, there are a lot of squirells literally everywhere.

Situated about a km from the Bara Imambara . Very nice and clean place , well maintained. The chandeliers inside are beautiful and each have a story to tell .
Two Lakhi gates was constructed during 1848-1850 by the last Nawab of Awadh Wajid Ali Shah. They are called so because their cost came to rs. one lakh at that time. this dawaza was called western gate of kaiserbagh. Today this landmark is on dilapid
