Bedwin Gangotri - Chinese restaurant in Uttarpara - Hooghly, India

I'm coming here for more than 4 years now but never really saw them growing till date. People love their rolls and hence they get some crowd in the evening. But they've a small dining beside, where they serve a lot more than just Rolls, but it stays empty most of the time. Very basic sitting and I've tried their Mutton Biryani that was very light in taste. With that Mutton Roganjosh went very well but Mutton pieces could have been little more cooked. Their Chinese dishes like Chicken Chowmein & Dry Chilly Chicken is also good considering the cheap price. You can also try their Mughlai Paratha & Chicken Seekh Kebab. Speciality of this place is the pricing that they offer in 2020 is just unbeatable by any other Dine in restaurant of Uttarpara. So is the quality and quantity is unmatched. But this place stays empty most of the time. Seems like people nowadays don't really like cheap food.

Jan 2023,I took a Special Chicken biriyani for Rs160 I would say people would rather buy poison than this worst biriyani .. it was smelly and the rice is Fully Oily and the chicken pieces were Maybe cooked before 2 days .. I just wasted my money , i would never ever buy biriyani From this restaurant only the egg rolls are good is this restaurant else nothing literally nothing is Good now ..

Small road side refreshments, all products are not so good but some of their products are best in the area, most popular dishes are rolls partha and kabab, biriyani is so so not bad but moglai items are better than Chinese items, not very good for dine in. But you can say good for refreshments. You can try tikia roll or special rolls which are special items here. But ambience is not so good, the place is on the road so little bit crowded.

Not bad overall good, Restaurants Menu list is long. All well cooked but mutton pieces were small in biriyani.

Food is quite blant. Previously it served a quality food but this time we are not satisfied enough.. the quantity rice is also less considering the price.

Not at all good. It use to be good decades ago but now the qualities of the foods is very poor. Also recently I buy 2 doubles egg rolls, but in the egg rolls they put stuffing of smashed potatoes which tested very very bad. Also the noodles were undercooked.

Food is less costly,and more delicious.....But it's better to take food home,than sit and eat there,as the sitting place is not well maintained and not airy.....

Overall Not good. Much better options available
