Beaumont Plantation Retreat - Resort hotel in Anakkara, Chellarcovil - Idukki, India

The rooms were spacious, neat and clean. The views from the resort were really nice. Especially the waterfalls was really nice. It was really magical in the morning when it is completely covered by fog and u can hear the sound of waterfalls. Would really love to stay here for a couple of days more in future.

Stay here for a full day and explore the surroundings especially the Tamilnadu view point which will blow your mind. The manager will take you with his jeep for watching all the area. Very very calm and quite place to stay.

Far away from Thekkady. Very difficult to find. If you don't have your own vehicle, you have to spend a lot for transportation alone. Very very small rooms. Service is very bad. We ordered, simple food like chappathi, rice and rasam at the time of chek in itself . But, when we came back around 8 P. M. Nothing was prepared. Very far and difficult to find at day time with a invisible name board and at night, it is a nightmare to find this place. Dying plants in the small garden, worst room service. We have travelled through out India. But it is the worst place. Waste of money. The only plus point is the view of mountain peaks from the garden. But, it is a common sight in thekkady, where ever you goes.. FAlMILIES DON,,,'T COME HERE. May be suitable for bachlors.

Went with my family,It is 15 km from thekkady, but very nice ambiance and view owner and staff extremely good, polite and helpful, view from room is awesome. Food quality and quantity ,price both are nice . Must visit this place.

I use to travel quite often across different states of India and I use to prefer quite underrated places. I describe my stay at Beaumont is just GREAT. One thing which make it outstanding is the hospitality. The host will treat you as we treat the most important guest of our family. Food is heavenly. They ask your preference and customize their dine accordingly. Rooms are cozy, location is perfect. This place have a clear view of a big waterfall. I will surely choose this place again if have any plan of Thakkedy again.

This was amazing place. Such a natural place and cottages were more than 150 years old. Hats off to Josin and team for maintaining the property so well. The most beautiful part of this resort was the view of tamilnadu small village from 3000m above. The food was also very very delicious. I never expected it would be so tasty in Kerala. Definitely going to come back here. This time for atleast a week. It is quite chilly at night and early in the morning. They also provide a complimentary bonfire at night which helps on cold nights.

Calm surroundings, homely complimentary breakfast(though limited varieties, the food is great) , the place is surrounded by cardamom and pepper garden, friendly staffs, ample parking is available. There is a wonderful view point behind the resort. Though the resort is located away from main town, its worth the stay.

We stayed in traditional cottages. Rooms are very basic. The property also has only a few cottages. But it was a very nice experience to be close to nature and enjoyed the climate. There is a beautiful view point just behind the property. Food was very tasty and the staff were very nice. Overall a very good experience.
