BeachView cottage - Hotel in Rameswaram - Ramanathapuram, India

First thing I have to tell that the service of this cottage is mind-blowing . This place is very clean and well maintained and affordable too. It is nearer to the Shri Ramanathaswamy temple and as well as the beach. The beach view is top notch If you looking for the nice place to stay just go for it. Jai shree Ram

First of all its an average meant to cater only budget customer for a few hours to freshen up and use the facilities. Nothing cosy and comfortable. moderately clean but congested. The location is good and just nearby to agni teerth and walkable distance from the temple. A little uncomfortable for a family stay but if u plan for just a few hours this might be ok. However the behaviour of manager /? owner is very good and highly appreciable. If u want a cosy and comfortable stay spend a few bucks and there are better options nearby , but if u want just for the day to change and use utilities this is okay

I booked this for me and my family for just one day. To start with, the manager allowed us check-in at 3.30 A.M since our train timing was very absurd. And also he was very polite. He also arranged an auto for us for the sight-seeing. Talking about the room, the room was very average. It's appropriate only for 1-2 travellers not for entire family. Found a cockroach on the bed. And there was apparently some electricity issue in the whole island. Because of this, the hotel was run on generators which was on for 40-45 mins and then again it went off. Since it was December when i visited, hence didn't really feel the heat and also keeping in mind the fact that we were exhausted like anything. We slept pretty peacefully. The location of hotel is really good since it is 1.5 km from the railway station and 500m from the temple.

Excellent Stay This is my first trip to Rameswaram which is for 4 days! My colleague recommended me this hotel and i was not disappointed. An excellent location, right opposite to the sea..The rooms are well appointed, AC is fantastic ( i loved it) Bed and pillows were just rite. Room was very clean.2 things will remain in my memory. The evening time I spent in the seashore which is very near to hotel and the early morning temple music all the 4 days I woke up with the pleasant music . Thanks to the cottage people, they are gem people.. Overall I enjoyed my trip and stay there.. Love Rameswaram

It was a very pleasant stay with excellent hospitality and guidance(Sightseeing) by the owner of the hotel. The Location is very near to Agni theertham and the temple. Invaluable Guidance and hospitality from the owner (Mr. Ganesan). The rooms are neat and clean. the only drawback is the size of the room. So I will recommend 2 guests for a single room not more than that (Acceptable for the budget)!+.We had a wonderful time

Last week I went to Rameswaram with my family and relatives, there were many brokers all the way from Bus stand to the main streets of the town. My cousin and me started looking for a better place to stay and to get refreshed ourselves. Incidentally, we found this wonderful cottage very closer to the temple and beach. They welcomed us like their own relatives and arranged somebody for guiding us. Moreover, it's very affordable to stay in such a clean and well maintained rooms. Last point I have to mention here is, I thought of posting my comments and reviews in Google for this cottage today, here I could see some more best comments from others too, now I realized that they treated well not only us, but whoever comes to the cottage.

I stayed there on 15 & 16 September of 2018, beachview cottage reception person is very kind and respectful man he helped us to around rameshwaram in less cost and made us comfortable. location of room is opposite to agni pooja beach and around 100m from main temple very easy and convenient to reach, also small bus stand nearby. Room is convenient for sleeping and bathing stuff, I feel room size is smaller than expected but its ok for changing clothes.

Room is neat and clean. It nearby the temple east gate.. No mosquitoes. The hotel owner is a very nice and helpful person. He helped us with information and also helped with auto booking for our return journey. But keep in mind the room is small and a bit of problem with ventilation which will cause suffocation. so I will recommend to book an ac room instead.
