My favourite beach spot in ECR. Safe to go in daytime. No shopkeepers or vendors available here. So this is just for the day of the visit. But mostly it is flooded by Photographers and their models. Cars and bikes shall be parked at their own risk.
Best to visit in the night time also there is less police checking in this area. This is one of the best beaches in Chennai. It is a clean and neat beach and please keep it neat if you are visiting the place.
The best part here is ,there is no crowd. Mostly people will flock the main entrance of other beaches This is down from the sign of 'Sheshadri Avenue'. The Place is quiet mainly because many don't come through this road. Coming by own vehicle is recommended. If one wants ola or uber cabs/auto, preferable is to come on the ECR and then taking one . Not many food carts to offer anything. There is one ice cream seller and one corn seller. For someone who wants to stay away from crowd and enjoy a peaceful morning or evening, do visit the point
It's a great entrance to the beach. If a person wants they can take their car inside as well. It was raining on the day I went and hence didn't risk taking the car inside.
This place is one of the best to visit while sunrise or sunset. In the morning it's so peaceful. I came to the beach around 6, the sight was so beautiful, that I wanted to go there for sunrise every morning.
