It is a really good place to have a good insight into the Buddha construction which was destroyed. All the remnants are neatly placed with adequate literature to understand history Clearly. The maintenance is really good. The surrounding garden is also well-maintained. Street parking is available. Rs 5 entrance fee. Staff is always watching your moves.

Great collection of our ancient monuments, all about budha

It's a small and beautiful museum located very near to Amareswara Swamy temple. Very good views with pleasant atmosphere. Every side is looks great with greenary. Can view all the oldest shilapalaka's here. Entry ticket is Rs:5/-. Parking facility available but less space. Staff are polite. Maintainence is good.

In this museum very rare pieces collected. Pleasant atmosphere , beautiful sculpture . Really good seen, well maintenance staff.

Amaravati Archaeological Museum is Located in Amaravati village of Guntur District, which is @35 km away from District headquarters. This Museum discloses the sculptures in the form of galaxy of and the images showcase content that were once a part of the Giant Stupa. There are three Galleries in this Museum, which takes the visitors very close to the old history of this region and the life of the Gautama Buddha. The Museum is awesome.

After a drive of 35 km from Mangalagiri, we reached at Amaravati. However it is 45 km from Vijaywada and the attraction is not in Vijaywada as shown in Tripadvsior. After Darshan of Amarlingeshwar Temple, Amaravati, we went for Amaravati Museum. This museum is run and maintained by Archology survey of India. So we here find the place neat and clean. The museum is newly built and the building is of fully white color from inside and also in side.There is huge statue of Lord Buddha on the top of building and a nice view from road side. There are many sculpture in museum. Do visit when you are at Amaravati.
