Boduwa Than - Batadhava Than is a famous Vaishnavitr temple of Assam located at Nagaon. It is the birth place of Sri Sri Srimanta Sankardeva.. Alipukhuri is a big, relatively rectangular, stagnant, beautiful pond where one can see a lots of fishes and tortoises... Pada sila(foot stone) is present here, people believed that the stone bears the mark of Srimanta Sandardeva's footprint. There is also Kirtan Ghar here.. A holistic place with great grandeur..

Oh my Goodness!!! What a place! I found the real devotion in spite of entering the main worship hall with traditional dress. The great creation of Shankar guru with Vaishnavism culture. The entire compound was sincere, clean and silent like Vrindavan. But in the bank of pond, many people were gathering and celebrating Picnic with non vegetarian food in a such sacred place. They were also violating the environment with playing the loudspeaker. I feel so pathetic with that. I request to Satra managing committee to remove picnic at the backyard of Bordowa than. An excellent place . PS- only traditional clothes are allowed inside the temple , jeans and western clothes , kurtis are not allowed . Overall a well maintained place .
