My experience at this hospital has been okay . Dr. Renuka Sahu is very polite and undoubtedly one of the best doctors in town. However, I must express my disappointment with the nursing staff in her hospital. Their rudeness and unavailability during the night have left me quite frustrated. It seems they prefer to sleep rather than assist patients in need, and when you do seek their help, they simply ignore your requests. On a positive note, the hospital maintains good cleanliness standards, and the rooms offer ample space for two people to stay comfortably with a patient. Yet, I strongly believe the nursing staff should prioritize learning how to behave professionally and communicate properly with people. Their attitude needs a significant improvement. One redeeming aspect of the hospital is the medical shop on the ground floor. The person running the shop is incredibly soft-spoken, polite, and always ready to assist, providing a pleasant contrast to the nurses' behavior. While the location of the hospital is decent, it's worth noting that there are only two meal options nearby: Town Hotel and Mutton Jhol. In conclusion, Dr. Renuka Sahu's professionalism and politeness stand out in this hospital, but there's ample room for improvement in the behavior and professionalism of the nursing staff.

The hospital is specially for maternity purpose regarding gyenocology and pregnant ladies.The doctor Renuka sahoo is very co-ordial and helpful. She listens the patient or mother carefully and checks the past treatment carefully.she is very soft spoken. The doctor is available 24*7 here. Both outdoor and indoor facility also available here. Especially pregnant ladies and waiting for pregnancy ladies visit here. As the hospital is more crowded you have to take her appointment either on Sunday or on monday

I have had a worst experience in this hospital so far. My baby was delivered last night by Dr. Renuka Sahu in this hospital. She might be one of the best doctors in town but the nurses and other staffs in her hospital are too rude. No nurse available for help at night. They just sleep at night and if you ask for any help/assistance, they just ignore things. My wife was having pain after c section delivery(which I think is normal) but when I asked the nurse to come and atleast see her, she straight forward told that she is the only one in night duty and is tired after taking care of other patients. I don't think this is an appropriate way to deal with a patient. When we were consulting Dr. Sahu, she was so polite and helpful but the attitude of her staffs is entirely different. I am waiting to meet Dr. Sahu in morning and will shift to other hospital if these issues are not fixed. We as attendents are not the right people to take care of patients; we can just be there for them but doctors/nurses are more qualified to do this job which is completely being ignored in Basundhara Hospital, Sambalpur.

Really we are very happy Thank you all staff ,Dr Girish sir & Dr.Renuka Sahu ma'am she is great & always try to normal delivery & give much more time to patient. Specially I came for normal delivery from hyderabad to Basundhara Hospital.Again heartily thank you

My first experience in odisha my previous doctor suggested at the last moment but i can say that the staff nurse and Dr. renuka was very co operative at the last minute call. The services are very satisfactory they treat you like your own member regular check ups in midnight too, and yes dey are responsible. I would suggest any one who is for hastle free delivery.

As the hospital name is famous in sbp, so the staff behaviour is like rude and careless. They are neglecting in doing sonography properly and write huge unnecessary medicine for making there business profitable.

Best doctor and the service and facility they Provide is outstanding.

Very good maternity service provided here. Doctors and nurses are very cooperative.
