Bastar Bird Nest is amazing and picturesque beside flowing river in middle of green landscape. The property is rich with art and antique collection. It's a wonderful spacious place to spend with friends and family. The calmness, the greenery, the river and clear winter sky made me fall in love with the place, as I immersed myself with nature. The delicious food cooked in earthen pots on slow wood flame reminded my childhood days in village. On behalf of my friends and family, I congratulate the promoters for coming up with this innovative idea and wish them to keep on adding new things to give us another unique experience when we revisit next time.

Amazing place, lovely view, cozy tents, best arrangements, gem hosts and exceptional experience! We came here post Christmas day, me along with my cousins and friends had an amazing time here. Hosts made sure we had everything we need be it food supplies, cozy tents, speakers, campfire etc If you know how to enjoy around nature this is the place. Can't wait to come back here again!

What a lovely place ! every little detail is very well thought out. Exceptionally clean , cosy and well equipped.Great views over the river. Had an amazing weekend in this place with 6 friends. The accommodation is gorgeous, very well decorated and everything you need is there. We defiantly will be coming back. Really do recommend this house to young families, older couples , and everyone else!

Nice place for family outing in the lap of nature. The Riverside view is mesmerizing. Bastar is beautiful, Indravati river is the beautiful necklace of bastar, but places like this is really the cute diamond on the necklace. The food is prepared with wood fire and served in earthen pots. Even glasses for serving water are earthenware. Delicious foods prepared by nearby villagers. Nice place made our day.

Nice place to hang out with family. Peace full away from city crowd. Very good food and a hut is felt to experience traditional Indian village life style. Nice river view from the farm side.

I was looking for stay options in Jagdalpur and got this suggestion from Google. Seeing it's excellent rating and photos went for it. We 2 couples with kids stayed in Tent and Mud house in mid of October. Booking Process - Booking process is smooth via whatsapp and call. Host has called us and explained clearly on what to expect from the stay before confirming. They also enquired whether any support is required in suggesting itinerary for us. It is a small EcoStay where entire property is given to us (No other customers / outsiders). So full privacy is ensured. There are 2 options to stay - Tent and Mud house . Location - It is located few kms from Jagdalpur. Bit far from attractions too. However it has its own advantages. It has river in one side and Paddy fields in another side. It is bit away from crowd so it is peaceful as well. Only issue is, the lights of the property attracts lot of insects during night being in remote location / admist paddy fields. Parking [P] of car can be made near the property itself. Property / Stay - The property is excellent. Exactly what we expected / seens in pics. It become even more beautiful in night though we need to deal with lots of insects. Since it is EcoStay, keep your expectations in check so that you don't get disappointed. At the entrance there is wooden swing with bed facing the river. Suitable for chatting and relaxing with loved ones during evening or early morning. Next to it there is big organic pool which is perfect for kids to enjoy taking dip in the morning. Even adults can take a dip but it is just knee height. Both tent and Mud house has mosquito net which is very effective to keep all the insects away. Just ensure no insects comes in while entering or exiting. The bed, pillow and bedsheets inside tent and room makes us sleep comfortably. There are 2 bathrooms and 2 western toilet separately (not attached). Apart from that there is separate dining area. Food - In the evening, we are served with complementary snacks with beverages. Got hot Vadai with chutney and coffee which were good in taste. Since we are coming with kids from South, we made a request to include Idly in their menu. So for dinner we got Idly, 2 chutneys and curd rice. Taste-wise Idly is slightly short of salt but not bothering us much. Chutney and curd rice are excellent. For the morning breakfast, we got an option to choose Uthappam or Idly and we went with idly along with same peanut chutney. This time salt level is fine tuned and tasted perfect. Heard from host that they are cooking south indian / Idly for first time. If so, it is really a great start since taste is at par with hotel down in South. All the food are home made infront of us in wood fired mud stove . Some of the vessels, plates, glass etc. are all made of mud. Quality is good without any hygiene issues. It would be better if they can add one more item in food especially for breakfast for better experience. We also got complimentary cake for celebrating the birthday which is purchased locally. Taste of the cake is also good. Service - The service was quick and good. We opted for mud house in the last minute and they organized the room in just few minutes. Whatever request made are resolved immediately. For example - We asked for floor mat in front of tent, bucket in toilet , additional pillow in tent and room etc. Everything is given immediately without questioning. Pricing - It costed around Rs.7,300/- for one tent and one mud house stay including breakfast and dinner. Evening Snacks, beverage in the evening and morning plus birthday cake are complementary. Though it seems slightly on the higher side, it is worthy considering the privacy and experience we get. Overall it was a pleasant stay.
