The stay @basiwood was serene, relaxing ,close to nature and yet luxurious.. we stayed in mud house and the rooms interior was so beautiful yet raw and authentic..well designed and thought off.. a lil gem hidden in forest.. the owner is so humble and attended us personally. Food is all organic and homely.. safari ride was a real jungle safari, thrilling and unexplored.. I would surely come again and recommend to all for such an amazing experience. Thank You so much for such kind hospitality and bringing us so close to nature in this chaotic life style..

Such a nice experience. It's really a wonderful place for weekend, well maintained and managed. A lot of activities. Specially for Delhi people as it is hardly 2 hrs drive from Delhi. Very peaceful, calm and close to nature. The most important is service it's excellent. And owner is a really nice man, he takes care of everything personally. It was a great experience, would like to come again and again.

Wonderful place in the NCR with best food and services. I enjoyed my stay. Hospitality services are superb.The rooms are on par with the best in the world, very well laid out and you will feel royalty. Liked the ambiance and the staff is very humble & polite and you will be taken care with utmost respect . The property is highly recommend for a peaceful and luxurious stay. It's an amazing place with lots of activities. Felt so at home here that we didn't want to leave.

This place is the hidden gem of UP. Easily one of the best resorts I've been to- the cottages are well furnished, and extremely comfortable. They've gone one step ahead to ensure covid precautions and fill the pool when the guests arrive for their mental satisfaction whilst ensuring safety standards. The additional activities are something that sets them apart from others. The day and night safaris exploring the forests, looking out for never seen before animals, boating during rainy season, archery and shooting in the afternoon. The hosts and owners are all welcoming and truly passionate about taking care of the forest. They even let us play with their two cute puppies. The fact that the entire place has a couple of cottages ensures privacy and personal attention. Brilliant creation, must visit. Will be back soon.

A picturesque place which is located in a serene and calm Basi village which lies within 116 kms from Delhi. This is an unexplored unique location which deserves 5 stars in everything. The location is so peaceful, rooms are beautiful, and the staff is extremely cooperative. If you are in search of peace and tranquility this is the ideal place for you. This is a great weekend getaway amidst the jungle and mangroves. Just a half km away from the divine ganges. The resort provides a jeepsy safari to the jungle and bullock cart ride to the Ganga river. At night you can enjoy the bonfire under the stars and the moon. Overall it was an overwhelming experience for me and my family. My 9 year old daughter was feeling low while coming back. We will surely keep visiting this place frequently. I am a frequent traveller and have seen many places but believe me this shall give you a totally different feeling and experience. The owner of the resort Mr. Faiz is so friendly and helpful. He specially packed the food that we loved and even the pickle was packed for us. These small gestures are rarely found in other commercial resorts. This place is now another home for us. Loved everything about our trip to Basswoods resort!!!!

A very peaceful and relaxing place. Close to nature. Good food and friendly staff. Very hygenic place. Main attraction are safari, bonfire, bird sighting and a nature's walk from the resort to the Ganges bank. Close to Delhi with just 2.5 hrs drive. A must visit.
