This Basilica is an effort of the begum Simru to the Lady of Graces ( Mother Mary) This place has an aura of peace ... immense peace ... amazing collection of flora and fauna with place to sit and to relive your childhood days ... as long as you maintain the serenity of the place. Easy connectivity from Delhi just in 1 hr.

Such a serenely beautiful place.....very well kept extensive gardens including a big mango orchard. The interior of the church was built in 1800's. High arched ceilings with intricate carving on stone on the walls and really old floor patterns which have faded over time from the feets of the devotees....come here to meditate, pray, reflect and soak in the grandiose of the Basilica.....a must visit for anyone in the vicinity.

Basilica of Our Lady of Graces, Sardhana, Meerut is oldest pilgrimage Centre for the Catholic Christians. Spiritual point of view, it's a wonderful place to receive graces from above and pray for the intercession of Our Mother. It's also a historical place. Really worth visiting.

Visited the Basilica of Our Lady with my son. Its closeby Meerut. Better not to refer to Google maps as it gives complicated route at times. Just stop by and ask for directions time to time as its a comparatively straight road from Meerut. About the Basilica- So very well maintained. One word for it is - Peace. I loved the ambience, the lush green lawns , the beautiful statues decorating the pathway to the church. The place is very neat and clean. The washrooms are neat and clean. The Church - The entry is free for those who wish to pray. I offered a box of candles in the church. You can even drop a petition in the boxes provided in the church. It is said that your complaints are heard and wish are granted here. The Basilica dates back to 1805 and still holds its charm. Its a real marvel in Sardhana. Begum Samru's statue is also in the church. If you are visiting Sardhana or Meerut , do visit this place too as it is one of the best Basilicas in India. You can buy medals and candles from outside the church. Although there are no eating stalls around. Take care of keeping the place neat and tidy. Do not litter as i saw some people throwing the box of candles here and there. I visited this place after almost 37 years and its remarkable to see how well it is maintained.

Basilica of Our Lady of Graces, also known as Churches among the Churches, is dedicated to Virgin Mary. The Church was built by Begum Samru, a Muslim Nautch girl of 14 who married a European mercenary soldier Walter Reinhardt Sombre. Samru converted to Roman Catholicism in 1781 and adopted the name Joanna Nobilis. She is regarded as the only Catholic ruler in India, and ruled the Principality of Sardhana in 18th and 19th century. The Church is the largest in North India.

Very neat and clean place .. very peaceful . Must go with family good photography points . Historical place . Photography on the sight available . According to history its construction started in 1809 . Cost of making about 4 lakhs . Huge verity of flowers must take selfie there . A true love and dedication of a Muslim lady with her christian husband. Must go place. I enjoyed you will also enjoyed. Please vote for my review.

Beautiful place to visit . GPS take you straight there. Meerut expressway is a nice route. Slight congestion enroute due co construction. No place to eat inside church compound. While going back, multiple options before touching expressway. Beautiful old huge church building. Nice clean washrooms.
