The place is located at 10kms drive from Sompeta. One of the best hangouts in a peaceful place. The location was good with natural sand dunes. Locals said this beach has historic information. Most of the locals visit this beach during Sundays. I request all the people who visit here to keep the beach clean, lots of plastic covers were thrown by locals and Ice-cream shop owners. Municipal corporations should look into this and keep the beach clean

The best beach in the district but the only problem is there is no cleanliness and security here. Safe for . You do not have place to change dresses. No parking [P] lot for the beach . You cannot food as well. Beautiful views.

Baruva Beach is one of the oldest beaches in Andhra Pradesh. It was used as seaport until 1948. On the beach is a commemorative pillar placed in remembrance of a cargo ship that sank nearby in 1917.[2] It is also called as the second Goa of India.

The beach is good, but very dirty and untidy. The water is moderately clean. People come and take bath. There are resorts near by, where people can even stay. There is a lighthouse too. Overall it's a good, but the beach needs lots of maintenance, they should atleast place dustbins.
