This is one of the oldest snacks time shops in North Kolkata. Today, I have mutton braised cutlet which is 70rs. They serve it with onion. If they add mustard sauce then it will taste very good. One more thing, it has little raw smell of mutton. Request: please don't throw your plate anywhere on the road. There is a particular dustbin, throw it there. Thank you

There's a saying "Do not judge a book by its cover", yes that's applicable to Barua & Dey Fast Food! What we had was Mutton Cutlet, Mutton Pantheras, Fish Cutlet. Let me just tell you the Mutton Cutlet that you get here is the OG!! It's so good, that maybe words would fall short for it. Pantheras is kind of okayish, stuffing was good though. And the Fish Cutlet it was yummmm!! They do not serve these "bhaja-bhuji" with sauce or Kasundi, all they serve you with are basic salt & onion chopped. But Goodness!! Go and try.

Visited here a couple of times. Famous for Mutton Pantheras, which is quite average in taste. Other items to try are, Mutton Braised Cutlet, Fish fry, Chicken fry. They serve food with only salt and onion slices instead of kasundi and tomato ketchup to keep the flavours intact. There are no seating arrangements.
An age old place of North Kolkata, famous for their fries. Mutthon pantharas- signature dish of them. it's great. Bit sweetish. Rs- 40 [5/5] Mutton braised cutlet- I loved it. Full of Mutton flavour, great for Mutton lovers. Avoid if you don't like the smell of Mutton. Rs- 55 [5/5] Missing kasundi. Otherwise it's a great experience.
One of my current favourite in nostalgic north Kolkata. We had Mutton Pantharas & Fish roll. Both items are highly recommend. At sharp 5:30 pm they open and stock out by 7 pm max.
