Barsana Hotel & Resort - Hotel in Siliguri, Baniakhari - Darjeeling, India

The people are very arrogant. Since, this is one of the luxurious properties around the place they are quite arrogant about it. The surrounding of hotel and its location is not good. No Uber is available for that location. Uber will charge triple of the ride cost to pickup from this location. Rooms doesn't have tap, bucket and mug. only shower is present. Rooms doesn't have plugs for charging.Bathrobe is mentioned in facilities but won't be provided. Windows doesn't open. There is no smoking room as well. They use poor quality outdated milk. Curd provided is foul. Overall rooms are not very good but manageable. Service is poor. Price is higher in regards to the service. But still a decent property to stay for a night at maxservice

Excellent place to stay. Away from the noisy city. Very near to the foothills of the Himalayas. Hotel staff very polite and helpful. Over all a very nice stay at this property.

Breakfast and lunch buffet were great with multiple cuisines and options. Dinner was good but a little more limited and some of the options were finished by the time we got to them. There's a good amount of outdoor space we're you can wander around with a drink. The lobby bar also has an excellent selection of beverages. The staff is very friendly, attentive and courteous. Check in/out could have been a bit smoother but that wasn't a big deal.

A wonderful experience in Siliguri. Having stayed in other locations of Siliguri, I believe this was by far the best experience. Amazing hospitality, hassle free check in, great rooms, numerous amenities. Gives you nothing less than a 5 star in terms of facilities. Location is bang on the main road. Recommended highly for families. Kudos to the Barsana Team. Looking forward to visit again.
