It is a good place for marketing in farakka where one can clothes, accessories, gift items, tailoring service, beauty salon, groceries and many more. Although the collection of clothing items are not that great but they are available at a decent price. One can get all the necessary items there from food and clothing to stationary items and medicines. The people here are good and cooperative. Overall a good place for shopping for people living there.

Very good vagetable & grocery stores are available at barrage mkt. Sweet shops are also good. But clothing Store are not good.

The collection seems to be low range, shopkeeper always try to earn whole day profit from single customer.....

You can get almost anything that you need or want at this place.. There are two markets here together -Chittaranjan market and Barrage market.. Still many shops are there from the opening time of the market in the 70's..
