Now this station is more neat and clean then before. The tea-canteen on the platform is closed now. Station walls and boundaries are painted and cleaned. The platform surfaces are cleaned everyday with machine and contractors labours. A newly opened canteen for meal is providing good service.

The railway station has a good first class waiting room and a second class waiting room. The railway station also have a two bedded second class retiring room.
