Very bad situation in waiting area.there is a single Washroom available in whole hospital which is unhygienic and produce foul smell. We do pay for the treatment but also for the basic facilities which is worse.

This is a mid to high range nursing home. Barod hospital is owned by Dr. Sunil Barod, an accomplished orthopedic surgeon. But now it has been rented by another group, Gokuldas hospital. So the management is under this newer group. Its easily identifiable from the main road (MR-10, Bapat square), but if u r coming from Vijaynagar side of the road, the enrtry to service road can be a bit confusing due to two very adjacent rotaries. (I hv included video of how to reach here frm MR-10). THE hospital caters to orthopedic mainly, but also to general n laproscopic surgeries, traumatic neurosurgeries n spine surgeries. Govt approval schemes (for ESI, Police CGHS etc ) are functional here and patients can get treatment under such schemes at subsidized cost. The hospital has been built very beautifully, with nice view of the main road and Deendayal garden in the front. But it is in need of up keeping n maintainence. I feel its quite understaffed. Also there is no proper parking structure for cars. They have a small underground parking in the basement. They have a good functional ICU, with latest monitors n ventilators. Their OT is also well-maintained. They have 2 major OTs. One is dedicated to Orthopedic surgeries. They have the latest paraphernalia required for such a setup(2 C-arms, laproscopy HD system Anaesthesia workstation etc. Doctors planning to work with them shd ensure mode of receiving payment, as many doctors have not received payments since quite a few months....esp. govt. Very third class hospital. Staff behaviour is pathetic and not well. Whole hospital having insects like Khatmal in each room. My suggestion don't try this hospital. In night monitoring all staff sleeping.

Plz avoid it if not in emergency...very bad service...very bad hospital...plz take my advice seriously..I spend 3 day hear....and the man thing is you will not seat on bed .if there is no one near ....but you cannot seat on bed....if you seat or sleep in night they will throw out of it no matter it's night...and the worst case I see .. but didn't want to explain....so plz avoid......if possible I will give -10 to this hospital.

I would like to share my positive feedback towards this hospital.. * Awesome Doctor Staff Specially Drs. Aruna Patel.. the way of talking and explaining the situation is pretty well. * Nursing staff has done timely visit and proactively done all the required measures which is really outstanding. * Reception or Admin Staff was also good as I did not required any follow up at the time of admission and release which is really surprising for me as I never had this experience in other hospital earlier. * Housekeeping team were all so proactive and did multiple visits to clean the room and washroom on timely manner also whenever we asked they were available for any help. (Major support staff were female which is giving help the patient). * Easy insurance claim process..did not face any challenges at all. Most of the things in this hospital are malfunctioning and not up to the mark. Everyone is blaming each other for their failures and goes to lengths to avoid prompt response. Highly insensitive and lazy housekeeping staff. For every single thing you have to wait for 15-20 minutes, chase them from every corner of the floor to get things done, even in deluxe ward. There are only 2 staff per floor and they disappear half of the time in some corner of the building eating or chatting with others. Even housekeeping supervisor is helpless and cannot seem to address any problems and blames it on the management. Nursing staff is not so competent and many tell you that they are new to the hospital so don't know much about it. If you ask for something, they just keep calling and blaming each other and everyone takes their sweet time. They took 2-3 hours in getting a pillow and couldn't give an extra blanket when we told that patient is feeling cold. Some staff were good and cooperative though. The first floor semi private rooms are the worst, always avoid. The damp rooms, dirty walls, open dustbins, dirty and smelly washrooms make it feel like a very old sleeper class waiting room. There is no dedicated nursing or housekeeping staff for these rooms, you have to call someone from the adjoining ICU, where literally anybody can go. Second floor private rooms are okay and even semi private rooms looked decent but need huge overhaul in terms of service.

Worst ever visited hospital .....the rooms have cocroches and other insects which are very harmful for patients and staff are too rude to have any conversation

In the hospital norms it shouldn't be considered as hospital even district and government hospital are having better facilities. Worst service in hospitality. Unprofessional and rude staff specially bhaiyas in the ICU who think they are doctors. Even they dont know definition of doctors. Waiting area is worst than buffalo yards. Tin shed and open wall waiting area. Innetrnal Medical shop changing higher prices. Should cancel license of this types of unethical institutions. On complaining for service staff said 'aise hi hoga problem hai to chale jao yaha se' currupt guards spits on the drinking area. No cleanliness anywhere and lots more.
