Due to COVID-19 pandemic the spot didn't get a proper maintenance and much visitors so. And I was there when sky was cloudy and didn't get the opportunity to visit Maa Kalijai Temple.

Had a good time here with friends. Go for the Govt. operated boats...these are petrol engine and have less sound whereas the diesel engine boats make loud noises & are maintained and operated by the locals

Good place for a family trip and with boat full enjoyment, please bring water for self and snacks for bird's.Recomended for Trip and enjoyment.

Go on the floating jetty and enjoy the roll trying to balance on it.

The ferry operator took 400 hundred rupees to and fro from lake to temple overall good experience highly recommended.

From here, you can venture out into CHILIKA Lake / KALIJAI Temple Island

Better go for government owned boat at a very decent price. If you are in a hurry or specific about all the various islands then go for private boats. And yes wear the life jacket throughout the water ride.

90 kms from Bhubaneswar & 10 kms from Balugaon . Entry point for KALIJAI TEMPLE & NALABANA BIRD SANTURY IN CHILIKA LAKE BY OTDC ( GOVT. ) ferry /by private ferries . Govt ferries operates till 4 pm last having 45/50 person capacity & Rs 80 per head .Govt ferry is safer & better than private one . Private ferries capacity 10 persons & Rs 110 per head/1100 per trip . These fares are for up & dn both.
