Barista - Cafe in Kolkata - Kolkata, India

I recently visited Barista Park Street in Kolkata with high hopes of experiencing their legacy of specialty coffee and continental food, but sadly, my experience left much to be desired. Service: The service was extremely poor. Upon entering, no one directed us to a seat, and we had to wait a while just to find out we needed to prepay for our order. The staff was inattentive when taking orders. Food and Coffee: The prices were exorbitant for the poor quality. Coffee was unpleasantly bitter, with hints of stale, extra dark roasted beans, with a miserably failed latte art. Other food items were tasteless and cold, including soggy french fries. Misleading Guidance: The staff misguided me on portion sizes, causing me to order more food than needed. This unnecessary addition inflated the bill by at least 30%. Ambiance: The cafe's ambiance was quite ordinary, nothing exceptional to note. Table Setup: All the food arrived at once, making it uncomfortable to dine due to the tight table setup. Limited Variety: The availability and variety of coffee accompaniments like croissants, cookies, and cakes were disappointingly limited. Here are some specific things that Barista Park Street can do to improve: # Train staff to be more attentive and helpful. # Improve the quality of the coffee and food. # Be more transparent about portion sizes. # Create a more inviting and comfortable dining atmosphere. # Offer a wider variety of coffee accompaniments. Overall, my visit to Barista Park Street was far from satisfying, with subpar service, overpriced and mediocre food, and a lackluster atmosphere. I don't think I will be returning anytime soon.

I think the Park Street Barista is one of the bigger outlets. It was kind of full on a Saturday afternoon but we got a place to seat in the first floor. The decor and seating arrangements are quite nice. We had ordered: Hot Chocolate, Cafe Latte, Affogato, Lemon Iced Tea, Fish n Chips and a Chocolate cake whose name I can't recall. All of the drinks and the food tasted good. The fish n chips definitely surpirsed us. It was very crispy and tasty. I feel Barista is quite underrated especially againts industry giants like Starbucks but barista is a great alternative. The food and drinks are good and affordable.

This made it difficult to accommodate all the items on a 2-seater table. The pizza was the worst I've ever had, and it was also very small. The staff suggested that I order more food because the portion sizes were small, but the items were overpriced. The menu could include croissants and drinking water. The staff was not attentive at the entrance or throughout the meal. The ambiance was also very ordinary. Overall, I was not satisfied with my experience at Barista Park Street. I would not recommend it to others. Here are some specific things that Barista Park Street can do to improve: * Use fresh coffee beans and improve the latte art. * Be more attentive to customer orders. * Prioritize the delivery of food items based on customer requests. * Increase the portion sizes or reduce the prices of items. * Add croissants and drinking water to the menu. * Improve the staff's attentiveness and customer service skills. * Upgrade the ambiance of the cafe.

It's located near to the Nature's Basket. Nothing to say about it's vibes and decor, They are fantastic. It's very clean. The behaviour of the staff is very polite and helpful. The food tasted excellent and the coffee were also great. The toilets are also very clean. The wait time is quite less even in crowded condition. The fish and chips was awesome .

Always drop by whenever am in Park Street. I love the buzz the hustle bustle and the ambience... It's been my favourite since college days..

The food quality was very good and atmosphere was very calm and peaceful. Good for meet-ups.

This is best place to have espresso . The bean they use is superior in quality . Service is very good ..wish to have more outlets in Calcutta

Nice place in Park Street to meet business associates , friends. Spacious , cosy with clean toilets. Highly recommended.
