Bareilly Railway Station is a prominent station in Uttar Pradesh, India. It has escalator which ease the burden of travelling with heavy bags. Auto rickshaws are easily available. It has lots of shops and dhabas outside at only 2 min walking distance.

I have seen many city railway stations but none like Bareilly Junction. Its beauty is unique. Waving the TIRANGA at the entrance is a matter of pride. The night lighting is mesmerizing. There is an automatic ticket machine here. lift and automatic ladders help people to go on footover bridge.

The place being a public place was good but too much crowded which also justifies it as a very busy junction. The place is quite huge with beautiful environment. The junction is equipped with escalators and lifts which is a best option I think. The only problem starts here is in the outside with the autos where You are to bargain very technically or You will be fooled. So keep that in mind. Rest its good and You will ot regret dropping here from Your long train journey as a good stop. Thank You!

Bareilly Junction railway station (station code:- BE, BRY) is a railway station serving Bareilly city in Uttar Pradesh. It is an important station as well as the headquarters of Izzatnagar railway division of the North Eastern Railway zone & Moradabad railway division of the Northern Railway zone.[1][2][3] It lies on Lucknow-Moradabad line and Lucknow-Sitapur-Lakhimpur-Pilibhit-Bareilly-Kasganj Line provides a stop for most trains passing through. Bareilly Junction used to serve both broad and metre gauge, Bareilly Junction was connected to Lucknow by both Broad Gauge and Meter Gauge, Broad Gauge was connected to Lucknow via Tilhar, Shahjahanpur, Hardoi. On the other hand Meter Gauge was connected to Lucknow via Pilibhit-Mailani-Lakhimpur-Sitapur, but now the metre gauge is converted into broad gauge.

Bareilly junction will always be the best station for me as it gives you the vibe of home as its your hometown destination while travelling with train. Its very neat and clean and the management pay full attention as much as they can. They do have escalators as well from gate 2. They can add few sign boards or screen display for making it better. Bareilly junction is a connection link to Kumaon region to main region of India. The connectivity here is not that frequent and adept. Yet, this junction has many option to Haldwani and Kumaon which connects the city of Tanakpur and pilibhit which is another tiger reserve of UP state. Been here to go onward journey to Tanakpur while I witnessed this junction which is neat and clean. People were lesser during day time so less polluting options. I enjoyed being in and around this railway station being a traveller on the go. Do visit yourself and feel the best it can offer

The station is situated near the cantonment area. Bus stations both old and new are at 15-20 minutes distance by car and 10-15 minutes by bike. One may have food outside the railway station from restaurants within walking distance. Good hotels are also available to check-in within the walking distance. Escalators are also available on the platforms. Trains to Delhi and Lucknow are frequently available.
