I recently visited Barasat railway station and found it to be a pleasant experience. The station is well maintained and clean, with plenty of benches and chairs for passengers to sit on. There are also plenty of ticket counters, which makes it easy to purchase tickets. The staff at the station are very friendly and helpful, and they assist passengers with any questions or queries they may have. The station is also well connected to other parts of the city, with plenty of buses and taxis available for transportation. Overall, I had a great time at Barasat railway station and would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a convenient and hassle-free journey

When I was my child age I mean 8 Year's old ,that time I have my first footstep in the station(Feeling men ,it's Feeling).When no proper condition now wht it achieved(Bulid). Now it's quite bit quality maded (but not perfect in my mine ).There are available everything ( 2 Paid Toilet, 1 Free Toilet which is use only for men , 2 Ticket accounter, Accessories store,Fast-food store etc.). Barasat station connected to Bongaon,Hasnabad and sealdah Line . *But I wish there have included a all train timing with train name ,which train is came in Barasat with proper time, platform number like Sealdah . Nice good railway station junction. It's an important junction for people travelling in the bongaon and hasnabad area. Loca trains are available the majority of the time and people travel here everyday from Kolkata also. During peak hours the locals are fully packed up and there are normal and galloping locals too. The station is in bad shape, and needs improvement. The stairs need to be improved and beware of pick-pockets here as this place is famous for it. You will find eatables nearby at cheap prices also.

It is a busy local station.From here you can go to various places in the eastern part of West Bengal.
