Good place. Definitely not worth the HYPE, but a good place to visit. Just a place for a beautiful sunset. That's it. You will enjoy only of you go with a group. Alone or duo wouldn't be fun. It's not a HILL. Just a heightened place. You will get snacks there to eat.

The sunset looks very beautiful from this place. You can also climb up the stairs and watch how the mechanism of the dam works. The place is quite calm and peaceful with the cool breeze from the lake.There is also a mountain in which you can climb

This dam falls under the Ramchandrapur Irrigation Scheme. The place is not that full and quite empty with one or two shops. The local vendors tried to take illegal parking charges from us so stay aware of that. The sunset looks very beautiful from this place. It's around 30km from Raghunathpur. It's a very beautiful place in Purulia. Here you can wat sunset with its reflection on the lake. The dam is small.

The spectacular view of sunset at the Baranti lake is absolutely marvellous. The reflections of the sun dips into the western shores of the lake at the time of sunset and surrounding Muradi hill falling on the lapping lake water. Popular tourist attractions of Purulia. Highly recommended place for visit here. You can enjoy the sunset with a cup of tea. At sunset time many tourist gather here. In season changes it's beauty just changes with colour.
