A small but cute airport where a flying training academy operates and has its own ATC and frequency. As a private pilot, I love this airport which is useful for cross country flights as well as general flying practice.

Baramati airport is uncontrolled airspace. Only private or charter aircrafts lands here. There is also 2 flying clubs active here Red Bird Aviation and Carver Aviation. Both the clubs train people to become pilots.
