Beautiful view of the river Ganges on the East and the Jami Masjid on the West. The ruins tell the story of a grand glorious past that this place once had.
This is a historical place in Jharkhand and opposite site situated Jami Masjid, that is also a Historical Place. "Barahduari" , also known as 'Nageshwarbagh'. There is a dispute in this builders on this building . Some scholars attribute to Fateh Jung Khan, rival of Raja Man Singh (1592 onwards). Whereas another group of scholars attribute it to Mirkasim Ali Khan (Prior to 1763) The Nawab of Bengal. I attached the photo of this place for History of this place.
If you wanna know and feel how awesome was the history of our country you should must visit here
The place is currently maintained by Archiological Department and maintained in a good way. But, most of the parts of this place was already ruined before it is taken over by the Govt.
The construction was made at a moderate height which can be accessed through stairs. The serene nature here is very attractive which is enhanced by a big waterbody just below. One can see a vast part of Rajmahal plains from the place. It is very near to Rajmahal by road and is a must visit for the Rajmahal traveller.
Nice place for hangout. If you visit moti jharna from rajmahal or malda than visit this place.
Baradari is a building that was considered as a social symbol among the South Asian Muslim royals. The buildings used to have twelve doors which is why it is called 'Baradari' as 'Bara' in 'Urdu' means 'twelve' and 'Dar' means 'Door'.
