Barabati fort Park - Park in Cuttack - Cuttack, India

Peace of mind .with good vibe and cool wind. Once again visited with my friend really enjoyed the view. As the weather was good, it was good experience. . Most of people were making pre weeding videos. Also making instagram reels. We also made a perfect one. I was taking most of the photos and videos of my friend. Loved the moment with my close one..must visit this place if you're free and living in cuttack. Some times you can see couples are enjoying their sweet times there. But Don't mind ..must visit.

Amazing small park. But beware of snakes inside them Its a nice spot to hang with friends and take selfies .. specially stones give u an authentic vibe . Also the park is very well maintained

Beautiful,But what they signify???.. no one tells! It's a beautiful park, many gardeners and everything carefully maintained..The lawns with their manicured hedges, the flower plants with protective boundaries. The ruins of the fort don't look like any fort at all. More like a desi and miniature version of the stone henge. Lots of stone structures but what they were in the earlier times..That is the mystery.. It belongs to the same time in history when the kings in other parts of India were making structures like the forts and palaces at Jaipur, Udaipur and Jaisalmer..Kind of difficult to accept that Odia kings were that primitive ..Or may be I am getting it wrong.

Beautiful Place and Refreshing Experience

This park is very peaceful and beautiful. The king's palace was just back side of this park which is now not visible anymore. Park opens at 4pm everyday. I was lucky I visited this park before the Month of May and I was waiting to go again but unfortunately Cyclone Faani has destroyed everything. So am giving my review today as the beauty of this park will take time to return.

The ruins of the Killa remind the rich history of silver City.. it's the "Ann Bann Shann" of all the Odia..more efforts needed to make it into a more beautiful park so to remind the glorious saga of Kalainga history buried beneath pavements of its ruins..

Lovely place Haritage site Barabati Fort is a 987 CE fort built by Marakata Keshari The ruins of the fort remain with its gate, and the earthen mound of the nine-storied palace, which evokes the memories of past days. Today it sits next to the modern Barabati Stadium, the venue of various sport events and cultural programs. There is also a temple dedicated to Katak Chandi, the presiding deity of the city, not far away from the fort. Now there are plans to develop the old Gadakhai into a world class tourist destination with boating facilities and a world class park. The renovation work of the Gadakhai is going on in full swing

This place is so beautiful... I have some beautiful memories in this park ...I suggest that the person who like nature must come to this place and should enjoy it...
