Bara Bakhra Caves and Waterfall - Tourist attraction in Bichhana - Bargarh, India

As it is a recently found gem, I insist to visit it soon before it gets spoiled. Beautiful for picnic as well. Car parking is there..not much to walk. Loved it

It is a beautiful and calm natural place. The Most interesting thing is the motivation and hard work of the nearby villagers, which are well maintained. They are taking some money from travellers: car- 50/ Bike- 20/ Cycle- 10/ and Bus- may be 70/ for the maintenance. The paintings made on the wall of villagers are the most attractive things, which signifies the "paika bidroha" and many freedom fighters.

Wow! I did not know such a serene place exists near to my home. Be cautious as few people recently lost their lives. Water level is unpredictable sometimes, so better stay near to one side, especially where you have your mode of transportation. It's a very easy walk from down. They charge somewhere around Rs5 to Rs100 as per number of persons and vehicle type. No food option available after crossing Bhatli.

Barabakhara Waterfall is located at Ambavhana in the Barapahad hill range. It is around 47 km from Bargarh town. The Waterfall is covered with hills and dense forest. Veer Surendra Sai hidden in Bara Bakhra Caves.

This is a rain feed waterfalls. But approach may be difficult at that time. At Dec it is almost dry, you can see only track of water. But very beautiful vast area. Good for day outing. Preferably with group. No food or drinking water available at site.

Most beautiful place of Bargarh. Approx 42 km from town. Google map shows exact location. Best picnic spot. But take your food and water along. You'll not find there anything. It's a humble request don't litter this beautiful place by plastic bottles, wrappers, or alcohol bottles. Keep this place clean so u can enjoy later.

There is no system of paid parking. And don't use google maps always take help from local people.

A good spiritual place in a beautiful surroundings of nature , but be careful about sleepy rock .
