What an amazing place so near... excellent location.. superb ambience... wholehearted hospitality... attractive and delicious menu...with excellent preparation....you can feel the nature..ideal place for spending time with family members as also with self... marvelous sunrise and sunset at Baor .. enjoy boating and fishing at Baor...a dream land as if you are in as soon as evening sets in...with light music and chirping of home bound birds... what more one can expect than this...

The tranquility of the place is the main attraction. Away from the hustle bustle of city life a day's stay is a great option. Located just beside the horse shoe shaped lake. The area is filled with mango trees. Rooms are good and the garden is maintained. The service and hospitality of the staffs are to be specially mentioned. The food is just awesome. The lake is huge and the boat ride we did was arranged by one of the staff, it was for an hour and was very soothing. The night ambience is beautiful..the resort is colourfully lit. The full moon added to the beauty and the songs playing were apt for the atmosphere.

Place is a good getway for friends or groups outings not to good for single familes as you will get bore very quickly. Nothing much to do. Except winter weather will not be much favourable for you to relax outside. Yes evenings are very pleasent I'll say dut to the cool river breeze. Rooms and foods are average and maybe little expensive if you compare quality wise. Place is safe for kids and families.

Perfect destination for spending one or two nights with friends and/family members in peace amidst the nature.....also enjoy some excellent dishes...and local sightseeing.....

A perfect relaxing experience forva day. Good food and ambience made the stay really enjoyable. Also it is a pet friendly resort !

An excellent offbeat destination to enjoy on weekends...serenity and tranquility can be felt from within the heart... wonderful scenic beauty, boat riding, staffs' polite and cordial behaviour, plenty of scrumptious food ---all in all, a fulfilling experience.

If you are in for adda, good bengali cuisine and friendly service this is the place. Rooms are good, backed by generator, However the drive from Kolkata through narrow congested Bongaon road is not very pleasurable taking nearly 3 hours for 60 KM. Its another experience to see how many people jostle here to make living in subhuman conditions. However by train from Sealdah you reach Gobordanga in one and half hour and take a 20 minutes ride by auto to this place, The place is peaceful and recommended for one night in winter.

Have fallen in love with the place and the hospitality of the people. The way we all were welcomed was quite impressive. The place itself is so serene that it felt to be in a different world . The tranquility, the environment, and the finger-licking dishes was a cherry on the top.
