The stepwell has been restored and now presents a nice sight to visitors. Earlier the visits used to be free. But now there is a charge of Rs 50, which I think is reasonable, given that a lot of work had to be done to restore the well and the premises to its present condition.
There is also a small exhibition and a landscaped garden. The exhibition consists of pictures of the well 'before' and 'after' restoration, and one understands the amount of hard work that has gone into its restoration.
Beautiful restoration done by the government. Very well maintained and the entry fee was 50 INR per person, covering three parts - museum depicting the history and restoration, the Stepwell and the park/ garden.

Three galleries are available in the front end which shows the transformation of the old dirty step welll into beautiful sceneric step well with ancient vibes .
Indeed an amazing spot to visit. Serene amongst the chaos of the city. Advisable to be careful since the monsoons can be slippery. It was closed when we visited but still ended up spending good half an hour admiring the beauty of the place and Theo Cemeny of the tiny fishes inside the little step well. I'll probably visit again specially in the evening to see how magical it looks with all the lights that are placed inside.
Very beautiful architecture. This is a wonderful attraction to city of bhaagyngr. Very good to see in evening with nicely illuminated. Great place for an evening out with family and friends. The galleries with photographs of restoration tell a story of conviction and determination. The design is done tastefully. The main message about taking care of water resources sticks. Must visit for anyone interested in history. After the lights come on in the evening, the place looks even more beautiful. Staff is super helpful.

It's the 17th-century stepwell, which had turned into a dump-yard over the decades. It was restored in 2022. Over 2,000 tonnes of debris removed.
It was one of the sources of water for the Gandhi Hospital. The stepwell was unused since 1980s after a few suicides at the well.
It remains open from Tuesday to Sunday.

Entry fees is RS.50/person.
There are 3 galleries which show the details of the stepwell : history, the construction design, before/after images and things found during restoration.
There is a small beautiful garden inside.
In the stepwell water is there at 4th level. Visitors are not allowed to go down due to safety reasons. You can just go to the 1st level.
It is well maintained and an at least one time visit place.
