Rooms are a bit more expensive than it should. Breakfast not complementary even with the high room tariff. Service is decent. Staffs are well mannered and no nosey poking around. You get enough privacy. Location is the best part.

We visited Shantiniketan in the month of February 2022, and stayed at Banshori. The property is beautiful & is very well maintained by owners & team. Our stay was excellent & comfortable, the food is great too. I highly recommend Banshori if you are looking for a quite & comfortable stay. The people at Banshori are very welcoming & warm, I wish them all the best.
Absolutely amazing! I have traveled a bit across North India and this was my first trip to Shantiniketan in East India for leisure. Perfect place to chill and rejuvenate. Nothing can bother the lodgers at this place. Home-cooked meals with all modern facilities.
Banshori guesthouse has an ambience that takes you back ages. The staff is hospitable and the prime location of the place makes all attractions around the town accessible at a walking distance or through local rides. The structure has a charm of old times. Highly recommended.
