Banpukuria Deer Park - Animal park in Mukutmanipur, Balarampur - Bankura, India

Deer Park is well maintained. We came across 5-6 deers. I don't know whether feeding deers is legal or not, I found there people feeding the deers. Some small children are seen selling leaves to feed the deers. They took Rs5 for a bunch of leaves. My siblings were very happy to feed the deers. My brother captured many photos of those deers.

Many deer ... Atleast 10 visible, if you arrive on time i.e. 8am (their feeding time) ... They come near even. You can feed them with leaves..

No need to buy any ticket to visit. But there are some kids who sell grass for the deers to eat. Some maintenance is needed though.

Lovely place.But one thing they should make it better.There has no place to enter in it.If there would be one gate where we easily enter in dear park it will be helpful for us.Than you

Banpukuria Deer Park is located only 2km from Mukutmanipur. you get to feed the deer through a fencing and can even touch them . The Deer Park as I feel is really enjoyable specially for the children.The spot is accessible easily by boat and Engine Van/Car after crossing the Kangsabati Dam from Mukutmanipur. The journey on a motor van on the earth dam of Kangsabati barrage was beautiful. The park has closed nets which had kept the deers. One can feed the deers with leaves. Many people take snaps of the deers. The boat ride is awesome in winter.
