This beach is perfect for those who want to spend quality time with nature and loved ones. The beach is very less crowded. But the road to this place is under maintenance and may improve in future as heard from locals. And this beach is not for bathing as it is full of clay. Also beware of quick sands.
Quiet and clean sea beach nearby Digha. If you want a crowd free beach to enjoying the nature, then the place will be the right choice. But there was no any restaurant or hotel around the beach.
Bankiput sea beach is lonely beach near Junput. It is located 8 km from Junput and 18km from Contai. There is only one resort- Lifestyle resort to stay. You can visit in day time. Wonderful place for couple & family.
Different kind of sea . You can't take a bath here. But if you want an offbeat place 2 visit, then this is one of the spots. In addition, if you are from an old-school gharana, you will find the background of immortal creations of Bankim chatterjee, Kapalkundala, and Nabakumar. The old structure of the MANDIR, where Nabakumar was about to be sacrificed by the Tantrik, who again was immortalized by Ajitesh Bandyopadhyay, is still can be found. Don't be fooled by Red Beach, which is non-existent. The approaching road of the sea beach is rank .
Awesome beach but underrated. Lack of basic amenities is a reason for less tourist. The area can be a good alternative to Digha and Mandarmani if proper development is done by the Government. Is not accessible by public transport. You need your own vehicle to reach here. No food stalls either. Just enjoy nature and beach. A total offbeat destination.
This is a serene and unexplored sea beach near Contai, West Bengal. To my knowledge there is only one guest house. The place is remote and you won't find many amenities. However this place far from madding crowd is ideal when you're looking some time for yourself. Villagers are very hospitable. Fishing is the bread and butter here. Food at the guest house is quite good and so are its caretakers. Ideal time to visit would be winter. Should be avoided during the rainy season as the path leading to the guest house is narrow and gets muddy. We went there with a group of friends and enjoyed the time among ourselves, occasionally going to the beach just behind the guest house to feel the fresh air with almost zero pollution.
The beach is almost in pristine condition. As not many people know about this place, this area is comparatively cleaner than other sea beaches of West Bengal. The area of this beach is not very long, that's a negative point of this area.Water level not always remain same through out the time. clumps of vegetation has grown over the time, which certainly decreases the aesthetic value. But this place is worthy for an one /two days enjoyment place with friends.
Went there during coastal trek. Very beautiful place. Anyone can be mesmerised by its scenic beauty. Communication is not that upto the mark, for that reason this beach is unexplored. Pollution free beach. Best for trek purpose. This can be next popular tourist spot for travellers. But one request to all don't ruin the beauty of this beach by polluting it.
