Not that good. There is a shiv temple and park inside. To visit the park , charges per person is INR 20. The place is crowded on weekends in monsoon. You can view the waterfall from the watch tower. You Cannot go near the waterfall. You can take pics in the park with greenery and big trees.
Shiva temple, temple renovation goong on. Adventure park is also there, entry fee is 20 Ra per head. No charge for Children. Adventure park rate list is mentioned in image. Parking is free but one guy there asking for 10 Rs as he said i looked after vehicles and help us getting out of parking. 2 to 3 hours one can spend here. No waterfall just flowing water. One time visit. Insta people overhyped this.
It is just around a kilometre or so from the main road while traveling. Lord Shiva temple with a pond with turtles and fishes. It's a good place to visit overall and adore the beauty of the religious side.
This is temple of shiva and surrouned by nature. There will be little crowd on weekends usually after 2.00pm. Park has entry free adult 20 and child 10. Park has amazing biodiversity of plants and different spices. It had dedicated children's play area. Most of people are visit with family to have a brunch on weekends. Food is allowed inside of park. Carry water bottles with you. Pathways are well maintained and good to visit this place.
Loved this place, very clean and hygienic, less crowded and well maintained, localities were very friendly, spacious parking, ticket for the park was only 20/- per person, which was very pocket friendly, there are 2-3 adventure games in the park like zipline and rope cycling etc, Shiv Mandir is also very clean and well maintained. Overall best place for family and friends. Best time to visit is in the monsoon.
Temple is nice but surroundings not that properly kept Good place for kids. Nice jungle, serene atmosphere. They even have an Agro Tourism. Temple is pretty old but very well maintained 1. Old Lord Shiva Temple with two water ponds having fishes & tortoises 2. Dense tree forest with well organized & nicely paved walkaway 3. More websites is misleading. Entry fee is Rs.20/- per person for all above 5 years to watch the so called waterfall 4. Well constructed view point for viewing Shivganga river basin that contains the so called waterfall 5. For kids: a) Spacious small playground garden with swings & few other things b) Giraffe, Elephant, Eagle & tiger sculptures c) Adventure sports One ride Rs. 50/- per person i) Walk on bamboo in center of hanging rope bridge ii) Walk on hanging tyre below rope bridge iii) Walk on hanging vertical rope bridge All above rope bridges are of approx. 5 meter length only at a approx. 5 meter height above ground. d) Zip lining One ride Rs.50/- per %person 6. Free 2 & 4 wheeler parking, ample space 7. Small eateries 8. Flowers & garland shop 9. Footwear stand at the entrance of temple Free 10. Bad Toilet facility Overall I will rate this place in the range of 7 to 8 out of 10 points from kids point of view for the families. Park your vehicle for free, visit the temple, after visiting temple, buy entrance tickets & stroll Baneshwar at your leisure. 30 minutes is more than enough at Baneshwar unless Kids want to play more, then 60 minutes enough. Best time to visit in rainy & winter season (June to Feb). Not recommended during summer. I visited yesterday i.e. 10th September 2023 with my Friends. After Narayanpur visit you can head further straight to Saswad & from Saswad to Dive ghat to Phursungi to Hadapar to Pune. There is no toll post on this route. For any doubt on road junction or road T junction (eg for Nasrapur, Kapurhol, Saswad) please ask there & there itself. It is better to ask & be on right route than heading on wrong route without asking. I have attached photos of Baneshwar trip in this review & have tagged appropriately for better understanding. Hope you will find the above information useful to plan Baneshwar trip in the best way. All the best...
Good place for family day out! Some activities are also there like zip-line.. I'll suggest to visit this place during weekdays to feel fresh nature away from the city and crowd.. the construction of the lord Shiva's temple is in progress!
It is such an old temple still the Maharashtra government is not making any efforts to preserve it.Coming back to the temple some kind of restoration work is going however some local people are doing that and they are spoiling the old monument. Temple close between 8 Am till 5pm make sure you go early in the morning or evening to get the shivling Darshan closer.. There is a park and water fall behind the temple where kids and families can go and spend a one day trip and they are also providing 4 hour package inside the park which includes food and some activities all in all a good place to visit for a one day.. Har Har mahadev
