Good Place to go with friends. Things you need to know before going: - the town which is near to this Place is approx 40 km i.e Rajganpur - No network comes around 25-30km - Offline Map does not show the correct Road - No Petrol or fuel station nearby - Local people have small shops for snacks but that is also not near to the place you can find it on the way - the shortcut which Google map shows is really worst. After crossing all these Obstacle you can enjoy the chill Waterfall. Happy Journey
It's a hidden gem inside jungle. True nature. You will get opportunity to drive over streams like in off-roading. You can come in bikes and SUVs. You can visit the waterfall and picnic beside streams in the jungle. Villagers are helpful. Talk to them nicely and they will respond nicely. Ask them for the route. We reached here via rajgangpur, buchkupara, chandiposh, bandhkhaman. The road was scenic. If you are coming via this route. Ask for waterfall once you reach bandhkhaman as Google maps location is not accurate.
Don't go by the Rajgangpur route as suggested by YouTubers. That route has lots of turns and too much inside and it may confuse you. The best route is through Tamada. Take the straight road and go on till Jada/Joda. There take the left road and not through the village. Then take a right off to a kuchha road downhill. The right turn will appear close to 22/23 km from the Tamada bus stop. So keep an eye on your trip meter. After going down the hill, you will see the forest guard office. The road which you came, will have a small walking path just before the guard office (some 20-30m earlier). Take that and in another 50-60m of walk/small rock climb, you will get it. This route is straight a's arrow and you don't need to cross any other stream as well. Much more convenient. As per the water volume, it is low during other seasons except rainy. But the good thing is it's height. Most other waterfalls (except Khameshwari) are of small height. Also it doesn't have a very deep pool (actually it didn't have a pool entirely ) to drown in the first place. So it is quite safe.
Magnificent waterfall nestled in deep jungle, the road to the waterfall is in good shape. Watch out for a small water crossing enroute and slippery rocks near the Waterfall.
It's like a hidden gem in Sundargarh district, Odisha.. One of best waterfalls seen in India.. Amazing falls.. Mesmerizing view with natural beauty within the deep green forest and red iron ore rocks.. just fabulous.. Climbing is little tough as there is nearly 650 stairs to reach to its downfall but do a visit.. U won't regret...
Beautiful waterfall area is bit isolated. No network available
Bandkhaman waterfall is best picnic spot near rourkela and rajgangpur. Journeybybike is better than car it is lonely place and dense forests go in a group for your safety.there is no market nearby.
This Waterfall is located inside the dense forest near Bandkhaman village, Rajgangpur. You need to use Google maps to reach Bandkhaman village and then ask to local people for the route of Bandkhaman waterfall. If you want to watch the full video of the Bandkhaman Waterfall visit my YouTube channel (ASpatel) and Subscribe the Channel.
