Banastari Wetlands - Wildlife refuge in Corlim - North Goa, India

There is an amazing trail through the wetlands for about 3 kms, so you can do a 6 kms walk amidst the mangroves, water, birds and silence. An occasional local may pass you on a 2 wheeler on his way to fish. Glad to have such a trail within walking distance from home. Hope it remains unspoilt. One does see empty beer bottles left behind by the local youth after a night partying

The place is good. There is a boat trip here for sightseeing. Also there are many crocodiles here they can be seen while on the boat ride. The place is surrounded by the nature very beautifully. The place has got some feelzz. You know its like enjoying the nature and becoming carefree. A very good place and recommend for visiting. I would definitely come back here for the sightseeing of amazing Nature.

This place has an eerie feeling to it but wow was I blown away with what I stumbled across. Basically I went on a boat tour which went looking for crocodiles and this boat wasn't exactly big but unfortunately most of the western tourists were really big who got excited and ran to one side of the boat to take pics. Not a good idea if the boat tips to one side and you become food for the crocodiles lol . I personally will definitely be coming back to this amazing location but be careful if you wish to visit here.

A good place for fishing, a lot of people come here to catch local fish. This place also houses a few crocodiles, so be on the lookout and stay alert.

Nice for a swim. If you're a tourist, definitely do visit and do the needful swimming necessary for a relaxing mindness.
