Clean and friendly, great location! Wonderful Western style mattresses! Everything is new. Great cafes just around the corner (Mark's and Open Hand). Staff is kind and helpful. I am a woman traveling alone, and i delt very safe here.
Good value for dollar! Maroj is an excellent manager and host. The hostel is brand new, and as such is very clean. The bathrooms are great. Super spacious and clean, they look as good as you'd get in the west, and the mattresses actually have springs in them. Nice chill out areas too, looking forward to seeing what they do with the rooftop.There could be one or two improvements by adding some hooks for towels on the bathroom doors or something but I've mentioned this to Maroj and he says they're in the midst of doing it. Banaras hostel is the best hostel I have ever stayed! Situated near assi ghat give access to around the city. The hostel is very neat and hospitality is very good. The bunk beds are very comfortable and air-conditioned. The ambience is calm. Worth every penny. Cheap and best hostel around here.
The hostel is very basic. Nice clean dorm rooms with nice beds. But the most important thing is that the owner is a wonderful person. He help us a lot while we stayed in Varanasi. I'm happy that we stayed at his hostel.
it is a very nice hostel near to the ganga river, quiet and very clean. it is new, everything looks perfect. the stuff are kind and very helpful too. there is a public kitcken on the second floor and good view roof. high recommend it.
Cosy and comfortable dormitory placed near the Assi Ghat assisted with very amicable staff. They provide breakfast and the equipments for making tea, soup , maggi etc are available. The owner is very considerate and cooperative. It's a good haven for people who wish to visit BHU.
