Great spot for hiking. Pristine environment and very low crowd. Either you can directly start the trek from temple or the village, where the map shows. there is a false peak which seems like a main path . Use strava to find the actual path and alternative paths. It's an amazing spot for intermediate hikers. Don't disturb the ecological balance and litter the place.
An adventurous trek to the trekkers. Please find my review for the "Banantimaari Temple" to come to this spot. It was an adventurous trek. I visited both small and main hills on the same day. The trek path for small hills is clean and can be done easily while for the main spot, it's quite dangerous. Dont litter the place and spoil the natural world
No proper road but will lead at the entrance of the temple ( small gudi ) many localites will be doing pada yatra to the top , bit challenging but it takes close to 1.30hrs to reach th top Moderate hike. Not recommended during monsoon, 1.5hrs journey from Bangalore Central. Leave only your footprints
Bananthimari Betta is surrounded by plush green fields and patches of flowers and rock surfaces. The views keep getting majestic as we go further. Gentle winds, and a breath - taking view is what greets on the top. Blues skies filled with fluffy white clouds, that cast their shadows on the green grasslands and bushes, giving the vibrant colors of green!
Awesome trekking place, which isn't that popular..good place to explore Moderate difficulty To start trekking from the temple at the base (plz don put ur maps straight to this location) Awesome views, a beautiful lake at the base, great 360deg views of the Kanakpura hillocks and the greenery
A good trekking place 50km from Bangalore. It is deceitful but an easy trek and the best time to trek is morning before it gets hot,it is less crowded place. There are interconnected mountains and u can easily trek to 3-4 nearby..!
Good trail for beginners. There are are small tough spots. But overall it is easy. If you are starting to treck;this is the treck for you. Lots of air on top. Be careful of getting lost as the trail is not marked or obvious. There are various groups offering different experience. One group i know also offers sunrise trek with camping option.
Tough level of trekking. You have to park the bike in temple and start trekking.Morning is the best tym to climb it. In summer it is too hot.The path for the hill is too confusing, you have to take support from local guide or villagers.A good view with tough climbing place. Please don't litter the beautiful place
