Banalari Pine Inn - Hotel in Shillong - East Khasi Hills, India

Located 100mtr in the by lanes of the main road. Proximity to nearby Cafes like Dylan , Click etc. Approach road wide enough for just one vehicle. Rooms are clean, bathrooms can be improved a bit more. The reception staff can be a bit more polite and interactive. It's an apartment building sort of with rooms. Also no views from the room.

A very beautiful property. Good location. Hospitable staff always with a smiling face. Peaceful. Rooms are not too big but well maintained and clean. They provide you with all the basic amenities on request. In their complimentary breakfast there are not many options to choose from, they serve bread butter toast and paratha with sabji which was good but I wish they included some fruits as well.... at least a banana. Overall I had a very good experience staying at this property. I really liked the hospitable attitude of the staff and the manager really appreciated it. Keep it up guys. Best wishes always.

The breakfast meal was really good. Though there's a scope of improvement in the menu but taste wise it was awesome. The room was a bit small but really cozy and quite well furnished. Really loved our stay there.

Bathrooms and rooms are tiny but manageable. Bedding was fresh and soft. Rooms were super clean. Clean rooms and friendly staff. Slightly far from police bazar but it helps as you dont get stuck in traffic during commute. There are stairs but the staff will help you with luggage. This is not a wheelchair friendly place though. Going through old reviews this place has improved a lot. There is dinning options that serves decent food and 24x7 powerbackup as well

Clean rooms. Good location. Helpful staff. But needs a door for guests to come in late at night or go out. As the main gate stays shut. Have to call the caretaker every time and disturb his sleep.

Decent and maintained hotel, visited a year ago. The rooms and washrooms are small but nicely maintained and clean. The staff is helpful and welcoming. The property doesn't have lift but very beautifully decorated stairs, can be a issue with elderly people as the restaurant is located on the fourth floor.

Very average hotel with 4rooms per floor. Restaurant is in 4th floor, no lift! Breakfast was supposed to be ready by 7.30, but only bread and tea available at 7.30. only 1 attender there who had to scurry for water, glasses, cups, as nothing seemed to be ready. Power shut down till 5am, no power back up for even a fan as it gets very warm with quilts in the night. Maybe value for money, but not upto our expectations for a memorable holiday!
