Bamboo Resort and ATV Park - Hotel in Bijanbari - Darjeeling, India

Nice Ambience. Room was super clean and behaviour of the staff was also very nice. We went there on the Diwali Night. We enjoyed their version of Diwali Celebrations. We had bonfire and pool party in the night. The lunch was good but quantity of dinner was not adequate. Otherwise room service and every other things were so great. We enjoyed the sound of the Chota Rangeet and cool breeze all the time. It was nice place for couple and family also..

The main reason to visit bijanbari was the Eye captivating Bamboo resort and the view of our mother nature . The rampaging Little Rangeet and the soothing sound of the narrow stream is like music to the ears. Great hospitality from the staffs . Clean and spacious rooms. The sprawling Resort along with the swimming pool adds beauty to the location. Food quality should be improved more and rooms should cleaned on a daily basis. A must visit to enjoy your vacation amidst the lap of nature

First of all we enjoyed a lot. (10/10) The Location : No hassle road is good condition. The view : Outstanding. The decoration of the whole resort : Very eye soothing. The Food : Quality & Qty Was Good. The night view : Nice With River sound. The river & Pool : Good & Both is accessible for all. Something i want to draw you attention is staffs, i found every one was drunk whole day & night though they are very serious about there responsibility & it doesn't effect the service but still you should look into it. Already mentioned that there is nothing bad at all but one more thing the resort is very much close to the river for that you need some strong pesticide solution for better safety.

PATHETIC!! The major issue with this resort was availability of water and electricity. No water was available at toilets. We had to search for the staff and inform them about the issue. Still there was no water in some rooms. Next issue: After the evening there were insects all over the rooms, which was making it more uncomfortable. They do not use any kind of pest control to stop such things. Staff: Behaviour of staff was good but they were all drunk at night. While we had water issues and called them up - they didn't even receive our calls after we called them multiple times. This doesn't make guests more comfortable on their part. Overall a very bad experience. I would not recommend this resort to anyone if these problems are not resolved.

The rooms were great and location is lovely but the service and food was not at all good. Staff were humble however, they have fix menu for food not exactly sure how but they had Chinese menu for dinner and the options were Rice, fried rice, Roti and Chilly chicken. We requested daal as how can to eat rice and chilly chicken with no daal. Whoever set the menu must be crazy. If you have a fix menu then atleast give a proper course of meal with it. If it's Chinese menu then why do they have Roti as option. Chinese menu and there were only two items which were Chinese food which is Chilly chicken and fried rice. The best part is the daal that we got was just water and Sault. Thus, if you visit this place then I would suggest you to eat outside instead. There is no food that is worth to pay this just pay for the room don't take all including pack.

Service is very very bad. Rooms are cool but there is no night lamp . They even don't replace it after asking many times. U have to buy water for drinking.. Food is also not so good. View is very good. But there is only one room which has river view. We have experienced some spooky things at night.

Point 1. Location is so good . Thank full to nature not them Point 2.: We taken river side cottage.had a very bad experience . Room is full of insects even they can jump on you and your bed at night tym . Point 3. We decided to leave the room for next morning . But owner disallowed us and ask for full payment even though we pay one day full payment . They forced to stay because of payment. Point 3 : be careful don't take your child. Room is full of insects Point 4. Food is not good as per charges Point 5: behaviour of owner is not good .they only know money Important note : in many reviews they take apology and ect . It's their formula to take sympathy through apology. Don't came here only by watching vedi o on you tube . Very very bad experience .

Overall an average experience.. location is really good.. it's right next to a small mountain river stream ... serene and peacefull place to relax..but the room maintenance, maintenance of pool, and room service should be enhanced. The bamboo cottage is missing some basic amenities.
