We stayed at the Bamboo club for three days and we totally loved the experience .The view from the room of the coffee estate was very calming for the mind .The food was good but the breakfast needs more options .The rooms sadly don't have a fridge .Abhijeet and Sampath were very nice and helpful and made our stay very comfortable .
Really good place to have fun
I visited only for a short time, however it is clear this club has a great history and is well staffed.
You need a membership to be at this place. It has 6 rooms in all, only 4 of which are in the center of the property. It's quite a delightful stay. Activities include swimming, badminton, TT and billiards. They have a bar and all day dining too. The timings however, are strict and the services shut at 9.30 p.m. The staff is local and speaks kannada and english. I would say they are nice to the members who visit regularly but can be slightly indifferent to someone visiting for the first time. They can't handle a lot of crowd on the property and often refuse service. But overall, if you have a chance it is worth spending a few days at. The members are mostly coffee plantation owners and are very warm and welcoming if you happen to meet any of them. The first Wednesday of every month is happy hours at the bar and the members weekly meets are organised on Friday evenings.
Lovely club. Overlooking the Coffee estates. Food is good, but you need to order ahead to avoid wastage.
Beautiful beautiful place with stunning views and old British charm. We got pork chop and beers. It was delicious . The staff is very polite and friendly. I cannot recommend enough!
