Bamboo Chef Restaurant - Restaurant in Udupi - Udupi, India

Food was was very usual and nothing special about the taste in specific. Bamboo biriyani doesn't have the biriyani flavour in it. Some items were way too overpriced. We had Chicken ghee roast, 4 pieces of medium sized bone chicken was served and we were charged around Rs220.00. The ambience is good and the staff are friendly. I strongly recommend you to think twice before you go.

Ambience is not that great. Non veg foods were really good. Not a place for vegetarians. Cream of Mushroom and tommato Soups were really good. Starters and main course where not that great. Hara Bhara kabab was not even baked properly. Staffs were really polite and service was good. Hope to have a better experience next time.

The food is delicious. Please do try it once. The biryani quantity was less but I have still given 5 stars because the food was really tasty. Everything was nice and had a different flavor to it. The starters, main course and desserts were all good. The ambience was good and they also have outdoor seating arrangements.

Restaurant is a bit outside the city. There are no other good restaurants in the area. If you're in this area, then this is the go-to place. The soup was okay. The bamboo Biryani was average. The chicken manchurian was amazing. Chicken ghee roast was very tasty. I would recommend this place.

The place is nice. Food is reasonably priced. The food was tasty and served hot. Bamboo Biriyani was good and must try.

Restaurant was really clean and hygienic. The staff were really courteous. I tried chicken biryani combo, mutton biryani combo, mutton paratha combo, beer dosa, chicken Sukha, chicken gassi, choco lava cake and chote chote gulab jamun with vanilla ice cream. Food presentation was really good. I ended up trying only the combos and later on got to know that the restaurant is quite famous for their bamboo biryani. Definitely try that.

Ordered chicken lolipop(tandoori) malai chicken tikka, anjal tawa fry, butter chicken, bhindi curry, half chicken biryani and roti.. all good. Dessert.. chocolate brownish with vanilla ice cream. Very nice.. all in all good, but service is slow..

It was OK restaurant.They have a different menu both for online and dine in.We had gone for dine in.We ordered chilli chicken dry (spicy , tasty, quantity ok), Paneer ghee roast(taste OK, quantity good), Mushroom bamboo biryani(tasty and must try, quantity serves 2-3 if you prefer smaller portions).They serve raita (tasty ) and curry (not good) with biryani.Bamboo biryanis are must try.That was the star which I felt.Ambience OK.Staff friendly.But if you are looking for combos then you should go for online ordering through zomato as they have wide variety of combos which is not available in dine in menu.But the uniqueness of serving bamboo biryani is a must try and there is difference in taste as well which I would recommend you to have it.Other bamboo biryani options like paneer, veg , chicken etc.
