Not much impressed from this place, felt like for accessing the beach we were wasting our money... For me it's better if u visit the puri konark marine drive beach it's better and free of cost.... This place only has a guest house and a beach , you wouldn't find any animals there but the name is wildlife sanctuary lmao.... Apart from the that the natural habitat is good and it's a one time visit....
Unforgettable experience . The morning sunrise , was most beautiful , and the catching moment over there. We went from bbsr and we reached there at 5 am morning . Reach by 5 , then u can see the beauty of our nature , the colour of the sky , all was unimaginable. Nothing more in the beach. chandrabhaga beach has always the high tide , so I recommend u to be careful while u go inside water and enjoy there . Don't think it is same as Puri . We can't explain u why , but it is . I will like to mention . Do u like crab ? Sand colour crab ... Not that we get in the market . That kind of crab can be seen if u go far ahead from the crowd . Walk along the bank of the sea , and go a distance , then u can see the crab crawling on the sand .
This is located near puri konark marine drive. This wildlife Sanctuary doesn't have many species of animals to see but you can encounter several plant species. There's a guest house inside the sanctuary. You can reach to a beach from this sanctuary which is quite secluded and less crowd.
Balukhand Konark sanctuary is a wildlife sanctuary located in odisha. Little of the native flora remains. The sanctuary is home to a herd of spotted deers. You can found variety of birds, snakes and reptiles . Got opportunity to visit this place way back in 2018, Sharing few images from that trip
The sanctuary is located on the shore of Bay of Bengal. The place is extremely beautiful and looks heavenly! I have been to that place almost 6 times and every time it was full of excitement. It is about 5-7 kms from the famous Sun temple, Konark. The sanctuary is a dense forest where you can spot deers if you are lucky. The beat part is the road! It is so beautiful with trees making canopy from both the sides. The trees alongside the road is painted white and looks so stunning! While driving from Konark to puri on your left you will experience dense forest, in the front the beautiful road and on the right the vast and mighty Bay of Bengal with it's serene beach. There are few resorts also where you can experience the forest and the environment there with some local delicacies. I would recommend you visiting the place at least once!
A very good ambience of the museum. And very informative regarding the history of konark temple. It's consists of an auditorium in which they show a movie of 20 mins, which is animated one, and it's about the how the konark temple was formed and what was the motive behind it and those things. And in the museum they even have the sculptures and each is having a different significance. And the museum information does not only bound us to historical part but also many architectural, design parameters also which were used while building the temple. Overall i would one should go through the museum first and then go to the temple. And for better understanding of the temple visit to museum is must.
