One of the best home style cooked seafood places in Thane! It's a treat for seafood lovers. We ordered Surmai Thali, Pomphret Thali, Prawns fry and their special falooda. The food tasted really good. Fish is fresh and tender. They treat you like you're family. Lovely atmosphere and lovely food.
P.s. the place is a bit away from the main road, but it is worth it!
Great quality food. Homely ambience. Large pieces of Surmai and big prawns. The fried fish items are very tasty, home cooked malwani style preparation. Thali is good option. For the quality and quantity of food, the rates are quite low. One of the best restaurants in Thane for authentic homecooked style seafood. I have been consistently having food from here for past 3 years. Quality has been consistent.
We ordered for Surmai Thali and bangda thali. Both the fish fry were fresh but very light on spice. That can be improved. Fish curry was plain(without fish piece)..and taste was bland. Overall okayish. Solkadhi was watery. Jawla chutney was good.

Horrible experience. The fish was stale an unclean. Please do not eat here. The fish curry was absolutely tasteless. Worst experience. Don't ever go here. We paid 700 rs and came out with an empty stomach.

I was at the restaurant on that day when you came to Balkumkatta and noticed everything that was happening. I personally feel you are wrong. In any restaurant you have to wait for some time to get the food served to you.
