We had a good experience. Very calm and away from the hustle of city. Very courteous staff. Clean rooms. Tasty and healthy food.

We had the best of times at Balkatmane Resort. Truly relaxing!! We stayed there for 3 nights and we totally enjoyed the stay. The property, the environment most importantly the food served ( limited spread compared to a regular resort but everything was super tasty) was simply amazing. They were amazing enough to check with us the prior day on what kind of food we would like to have etc... We had 4 kids in total and all of them thoroughly enjoyed the stay. The resort manager and the supporting folks and not to forget the cook were all extremely helpful and took our hospitality expectations to the next level. The resort is a little offbeat and if you wish to have a peaceful relaxing stay without anything bothering you then this is the place. How I wish we had to the opportunity to extend out stay for a few more days!! I am surely wanting to go back for a longer stint... Thanks a ton Balkatmane for the memories!!!

Lovely place. Very quiet and peaceful. Staff are excellent and make you feel at home. And food is excellent to say the least. This place doesn't serve alcohol or non vegetarian food. So if you love these then you will be disappointed. And kudos to "Max" for being friendly and energetic in welcoming guests. Prices are expensive but worth

Amazing facility, estate itself is well planned. Could spend sometime with animals like rabbits, cattles. There are few cute ducks walking around, and if lucky enough you could sight a peacock as well. Food feels like home and spa was also a nice experience.

I was looking for a quiet place for spending some quality time with family and decided to choose Balkatmane. I must say that it turned out to be the most amazing stay we ever had. The property is situated in Beloor village, easily accessible from the NH on the west, also has good access from the east, from the Agumbe side. The property has a very traditional architecture, and looks great. The rooms are airconditioned, and are spacious too. They offer good WiFi access for guests. The property is well managed, with lot of greenery and pets and gives you lot of positive energy. Right from the reception, until you depart from the resort, the hospitality is heart-warming. The food served is freshly prepared and is extremely delicious. I was amazed with the cooking skills of the chef Sri.Lakshman, and he definitely have a magical hand in his cooking. The pet dog Max who stays in the resort, makes guests his friends and also does his part in adding joy to the guests. The whole team of good people under the property manager Sri.Shivram treats you like their family member and I am greatly moved by their hospitality. Thank you very much Shivram sir, Shithil, Sunitha, Lakshman and the whole family in Balkatmane for your wholehearted service and the nice time with us. We will definitely visit you again.

Deep inside forest area near Kundapura. However the resort is very convenient for stay, rest and relaxation. They provide excellent vegetarian food. They also have facility for ayurvedic consultation, treatment and massages.

From massages to good home cooked food, this place is a must visit for those who want a break from all the stress and anxiety due to covid pandemic. This resort is completely covid safe with staffs are routinely checked with completely sanitised areas. It is a paradise for pet lovers and teetotallers to get lost in the serene beauty. The staff here are truly friendly and food is really great. It has positivity spread across its entire property and a pure air to rejuvenate. Truly touched by the experience and waiting to visit again. Thanks to staff for making our anniversary very memorable.
